US President Barack Obama has announced the deployment of up to 250 U.S. military personnel to Syria. He has said this is to assist local troops trying to dislodge the ISIL. He called the move essential to keeping up momentum against the group. Which local troops is he talking about? 
In this edition of the debate, Obama still believes there’s a military solution still possible, while in the same breath he says that the only way to solve the Syrian crisis is through political means.
