【具】エアブラシホルダー_1 [Airbrush holders 1]

⭐️ プラモデルを複数作った時、塗装色やマークが統一されていると同じ部隊感が出ます。成形色の異なるプラモデルがある場合は塗装が必須になります。そこで、塗装が容易になるようにエアブラシを並べて置くホルダーを用意します。ここでは、配置や部品構成の設計や、３Dプリンタで出力した部品、使用感、改善すべき場所を見つけた場合の改修を報告します。
⭐️ When several plastic models are built, uniform paint colours and markings give the same unit look. If you have plastic models with different moulding colours, painting becomes essential. Therefore, prepare a holder to place airbrushes side by side to facilitate painting. This section reports on the design of the arrangement and parts configuration, the parts output from the 3D printer, the feeling of use and any modifications where we found places that need to be improved.

⭐️ 日頃、塗装に欠かせないのがエアブラシです。目的や色ごとに分けて使うと便利です。ただ、多くのエアブラシを並べて置くホルダーはあまり見かけませんので、自分で設計して、３Dプリンタで出力して使っています。でも、油断したために、せっかくの部品が折れてしまいました。中段の折れている部品がエアブラシホルダーの基部です。実は金具の長さの都合で割れている１台分には金具が入っていませんでした。そこに置いてあったエアブラシに手が引っ掛かり、折れてしまったのです。丸い円形の部分に上段のエアブラシスタンドが填り、そこでエアブラシを固定しています。修復方法は２通りあります。

①素材が透明のUV硬化レジンですので、割れた部分にUV硬化レジンを塗布し、ネイル用のUV照射器で再接着する。この方法は、簡単ですが、今使っているエアブラシ２台の置き場を確保する必要があるのと、再接着強度が不明な点が問題点でした。

②３D出力データがあるので再造形する。こちらは造形時間が１２時間程度と時間を要するのと、さらに破損個所用にねじ穴を空ける加工やトレイを置くための追加加工が必要です。もちろん、エアブラシ２台の置き場を確保する必要があります。

今回は②の方法で再出力、追加加工を選択しました。しかし、真ん中のねじ穴加工中に割れて、１台目は失敗しました。何とか２台目はうまくいきましたので、再構築できました。

⭐️ Airbrushes are essential for painting on a daily basis. It is convenient to use them separately for different purposes and colours. However, I don't see many holders to put many airbrushes side by side, so I design my own and use my own 3D printer to output them. But because I was careless, the holder base I had made broke off. The broken part in the middle section is the base of the airbrush holder. In fact, the lower part of one airbrush stand, which is broken due to the length of the metal fitting, did not contain a metal fitting. The hand caught on the airbrush that was placed there and broke off. The upper airbrush stand fits into the round circle and holds the airbrush there. There are two repair methods.

(i) As the material is transparent UV-cured resin, apply UV-cured resin to the broken part and re-glue it using a UV irradiator for nails. This method is easy, but it is necessary to secure a place for the two airbrushes that are currently being used, and the fact that the re-adhesion strength is unknown was a problem.

In this case, we chose to use method (2) for re-output and additional machining. However, the first unit failed because it cracked while machining the screw holes in the middle. The second unit managed to work and we were able to rebuild it.

⭐️ 左のエアブラシホルダー基部を新しいパーツに交換しました。エアブラシのホルダー基部は、右の3台、右奥の２台、奥の３台と同じパーツから設置場所に合わせた加工しているので、作業が少し多いのです。
⭐️ The airbrush holder base on the left has been replaced with a new part. The airbrush holder base is a bit more work as it is machined from the same parts for the three units on the right, the two units on the far right and the three units on the far right to suit the installation location.
