ファッションショー
昨日は文化交流ファッションショーが開かれ、そこで再びよさこいを踊る機会をいただきました。Last night, we had the Intercultural Fashion Show and got a chance to dance YOSAKOI on the stage.ほんとに国際色豊かなファッションショーで、各国の伝統的な衣装を、地元の服飾店の広告とともに楽しむことができましたIt was such an international fashion show that i could enjoy every single traditional dress with the advertisement of local clothing shops. 参加していた国も、インド、日本、タイ、ベトナム、インドネシア、タヒチ、ニューカレドニア、コロンビア、ブラジルと様々です。The following are the varieties of countries joining this event: India, Japan, Thai, Vietnam, Indonesia, Tahiti, New Caledonia, and Brazil. 写真は友達からもらい次第載せようと思います。I am to put my pictures on as soon as I get them from my friends.また、昨日は友達の誕生日でもあり、みんなで夜部屋に押し掛けて祝いましたAlso, yesterday was the birthday of my friend. さくら祭り
去る土曜日にサクラ祭りが開かれ、普段静かな学校が人でごったがえしてました～～～～！！！！On last Saturday, Sakura Festival was held and my school, which is normally tranquil, was crowded with a lot of visitors~~~!!!僕のカメラは電池がおかしくなっており、使い物にならないので満足に写真はとれませんでしたが、一日中忙しかったのであってもなくても一緒だなと思いました はいThe battery of my camera got wrong, so I can't use it. But it doesn't matter because I was too busy to take pictures on that day anyway. Yeah（以下の写真は全て友人提供）(The following pictures are all provided by my friends)まず午前中は茶道ですね。First, I had Tea Ceremony in the morning. こともあろうにコンセントが壊れていてお湯が沸かずあたふたしましたがなんとか時間どおり！To make matter worse, the outlet was broken, and it made us very upset because we definitely needed boiled water, but at last we could manage to make it on time!!道場で一枚。A picture from Dojo.次はよさこいをやる直前に一枚。Next one was taken just before Yosakoi.今回は毎年教えてくれていた先輩が卒業してしまうため、ニュージーランドーで最後のよさこいとなりました。As my older friends, who have taught us dancing, will graduate from here, it was the final dance in New Zealand.練習はきつかったですが、踊ってるときは本当に楽しくて楽しくて。。。The practice was really hard, but I was honestly enjoying the dance .... 泣けましたwIt was moving 踊り終わってからみんなで一枚とりましたwAfter that, we all gathered in a picture.その後、早々と着替えて剣道を見せました～Just after that, I changed my clothes and performed kendo.残念ながら剣道の写真はありません。Unfortunately, I don't any picture of it.今回は後輩にMCを任せてみました。This time I left my job, MC, to the junior. うまいことやってくれたので安心！！She did quite good job, so everything was fine!!仕事放棄だ！なんて言う輩がいますがそんなのは無視です。Some say it's my neglect, THAT'S ALRIGHT.最後にサクラの木の下でよさこいの男子で一枚。Finally I took a photo with male Yosakoi members under cherry blossom trees.今年もずっと走り回ってばかりで忙しかったですけどI kept running this year as well感慨深い一日でしたYet that day was impressive来年は家族にも来てもらいたいです。I expect my family to be here in next year.追伸 生まれて初めて髪を染めましたP.S. I dyed my hair for the first time in my life.

近況報告
いよいよ今週の土曜日に恒例のサクラ祭りが開かれます！Finally, the customary event, Sakura Festival will be held on this Saturday!今年も例年通り茶道、剣道、よさこいをみせることになりそうですI'll show Tea Ceremony, Kendo and Yosakoi as usual...さらには来訪者のガイドもしなきゃいけないとか。。。Moreover, I'll be asked to guide the visitors....楽しんでるヒマないじゃん！！！No time to enjoy the festival, aye!?とかいいつつ準備たのしんでます～Yet, I enjoy preparing for it~また１１月初めにスチューデントフェスティバルがあるので、それに向けてニュージーランドの友達とギターも練習し始めましたAlso, I started practicing the guitar with my Kiwi friends for Student Festival coming in early November.写真を御期待ください！！Please look forward to the pictures!!

お待たせのクイーンズタウン
クイーンズタウンを訪れてからもうすぐ１ヶ月が経とうとしておりますIt has been almost 1 month since I visited Queenstown.移動にほぼ一日かかるような経路だったため、少ししか遊べませんでしたが良かったです～Actually it took us nearly a day for transiting, so we could have fun shortly. Anyway, it was good.最終日なんかは夜に宿で飲み会をやってるときに「静かにしろ！」と警備員さんに怒られましたが。On the last day, however, we got told off by security when we had drinking at the hostel. とにかく楽しかった！It was so nice, after all!スキー全然へたくそだったけど！I was very poor at skiing, though!３泊４日じゃたりないんだよっ3 nights 4 days are not enough at all!!!今度はもっとゆっくり滞在したいところですI would like to stay there longer~（湖畔にて）"At lakeside"（とっても規模の小さい街だけど、それが逆に無駄なところを削っているようで。綺麗にまとまった感じのする街でした）"The town itself was tiny, but it also expressed the great balance that everything is orderly compacted without anything unnecessary "（湖の近くにある山の山頂でリュージュに挑戦～）"At the top of the mountain near the lake, I tried Luge~"（山頂からの町並み）"the view of town down from the top of the mountain"

オールブラックス ～ラグビー～
約１週間前の土曜日に首都、ウェリントンまで行って、ニュージーランド（オールブラックス）対南アフリカのラグビーの試合を見てきましたAbout a week ago on Saturday, in the capital city of New Zealand, Wellington, I watched a rugby game of New Zealand(All Blacks) against South Africa. 生まれて始めてのラグビーの試合観戦！This the first time in my life to watch rugby game in stadium!!というか生のスポーツ観戦自体が初めて（卓球以外）Or actually I've never watched sports in stadium (except table tennis)こんな感じのメンバーで行きましたI went there with these members当日は雨がひどく、雹まで降ってきてOn the day, we had a heavy rain and even hailしかも席は屋根なしという最悪の状態。To make matter worse, our seats were uncovered.でもひとたび試合が始まれば、観客一丸となって応援するからあったかいにちがいない！！！However, audience will cheer up the game altogether once the game starts, so it must warm us up!!!っていうのは所詮希望的観測。Ah, it was actually no more than my hope. えーもう寒いまんま Well, it has been bloody chilly.座って動かないままで気温５度前後の中雹に打たれ続けたら寒くない訳が無いIt must be freezing if we're in around 5 degrees, keep being hit by hailstone with just sitting and no action. 試合は面白かったんですけどね The game itself was quite fascinating, though オールブラックスは世界でも指折りのチームですが、その彼らのタックルをそして素早いパス回しを！All Blacks are one of the best teams in the world, but their powerful tackle and quick ball handling!!南アフリカ代表は機敏で正確な守りによって遮り続けます！are interrupted by South African players with rapid and precise defense. ただ南アフリカはちょっとファールが多かったですね However, South Africans made quite a few furls, though.ペナルティーキックによって奪われた点数は多かったはずThey must have given many points to All Blacks with the penalty kicks. それにしてもニュージーランド、ほんとにみんなラグビーが好きなんですねAnyway, I realized that everyone loves rugby. そして自分のチームを愛してますAnd they love their team逆を言えば、相手チームには非常に冷たいですIn other words, they are very hostile to the opponents南アフリカが点をとったら会場全体でブーイングやってました。wWhenever South Africans get point, the whole stadium kept booing南アフリカちょっと可哀想～I felt sorry for South Africa. 寒い中で必死に耐えて楽しんだ、人生初のスポーツ観戦でした In the bad condition, enduring the chilly weather, I enjoyed my first sports watching.

ミュージックイベント
先週の金曜日に開かれた、募金をかねた音楽イベント。A charity music event was held on the last Friday僕はギターとして出させてもらいました！I joined it as a guitarist!彼が一緒に弾いた友達ですHe is my mate to play with.スカジャンを着る、と言いだしたので、僕も急遽着ることに。。。（借りました）Suddenly he said he would wear Yokosuka Jumper, so I decided to wear it... (I borrowed it by the way)そしてこれがバンドの演奏のときのものです。And this is the picture of the other band that I joined. 向かって左端で赤いギターを弾いているのが僕です。The one who plays the red guitar in your left hand side is me. やはり２００人も人がいると緊張がひどい。。。Anyway, 200 people put me extreme pressure on me...この日も授業はありましたが、とても集中できたものではありませんでした。I had class on that day, but how could I concentrate on it?激しいプレッシャーでミスがかなり出て、演奏の後は二度と舞台にはあがらない、と誓いたくなったほど。Extraordinary pressure drove me to make many mistakes, so, after my play, I was as embarrassed as I swore that I would never play on the stage.でもイベント自体はかなり楽しめましたBut the event itself was quite enjoyable!そしてこの人がすごい！And this man is outstanding!ケインパーソン（ギター担当）はプロのアーティストで子供向けのポップソングを作っている人です。Kane Parson (Guitar) is a professional artist, who creates pop songs which are intended for children. やはりプロの演奏はすばらしかった！As I expected, his performance was wonderful!音を出すのも切るのも本当に正確He can freely and precisely make the sound vibrate and muteそしてかなり気さく～～～And he is quite friendly~~イベント全部おわった後で握手やら肩車やら After the event, he shook my hands, rode me on his shoulders...wそして最後はこの人。今回のイベントの企画者さんです！Finally, this is the man who organized this event!今回のイベントを立ち上げ、メンバーを集め、学校側に草案提出、新聞社への広告依頼、資金集めのソーセージ販売など、多くの仕事をこなしてきましたHe has done a lot of works for this event such as launching the idea of an event, collection of members, submitting proposals to the school, commissioning a newspaper corporation to advertise this event, and the sales of sausages as fundraising.その人が、イベントの最後に、背筋に電撃が走るようなかっこいいギターソロをブルースの曲で披露してくれました！At the end of the event, this guy performed a wonderful guitar solo, which made me feel like getting hit by lightning, in his blues play!盛り上がりも最高潮～The event reached its peak! 彼は最後に感動して泣いていました。wAt the very end, he was so impressed that I burst into tears今回のイベントは全く新しい企画だったため、困難がたくさんありましたがThis event was the first trial in the history of out school, so we have faced a lot of setbacks僕自信もギタリストとして、企画に携わった一人として、一皮むけたと思います。Yet I reckon I could achieve the further level as a guitarist and one of the organizing members.企画者の彼にもう一度、こころからお礼を言いたいです。I would like to thank him once more with my heart.ありがとうThank you very much

ひさびさ！
まったく忙しい日が続いておりますIt's been quite busy recently.今月２７日には、友達が企画したチャリティーコンサートが開かれるため、その準備の手伝いそしてまた演奏者としての練習も課題に追われながらやっています。For the coming charity concert which a friend of mine organizes on 27th June, I'm supporting the preparationAnd also I'm engaging in the practice of performance as a player driven by my assignments週に３日くらいはアルバイト。I've usually got three shifts of part-time job a week.友達どころか先生にまで「いつ勉強してるんだ？？」と聞かれる有様。Not only my friends but also my lecturer asked me "when do you study??" まあ睡眠時間削ってるんですけどねw Well, I'm sparing my sleeping time.ここのところ４、５時間睡眠が普通になってきましたThese days, I have 4 or 5 hour-sleep on average. 自分若いな！How young I am!ところで！！By the way!!ついに！Finally!僕のカメラのバッテリーが！The battery of my digital camera!!お逝きになりました。。。。passed away....もう充電できません＝撮れませんI can't recharge it any more = I can't take any photosということでイベントのときは友達にたくさん写真を撮ってもらいますSo I'll ask my friends to take a lot of photos for meお楽しみにLook forward to the pictures in next time!

最近の授業
環境の授業でパキスタン出身の先生に習っています。I've been learned environment by a lecturer from Pakistan ２つ授業があって、一つは生徒が自分を含めて４人という小さなクラス。I've got two classes, one has only 4 classmates including me.もう一つも全部で６人。The other has only 6 in all.日本の大学じゃあ考えられない規模ですがwIt never happens in Japanese university, though. w先生の英語のなまりが強くて、聞き取るのが大変～～～！！Her accent is so strong that it's very hard for me to get what she says!!!３つ目は教授！って感じのするニュージーランド人の先生。In the third class, the lecturer has atmosphere of the very professor, from New Zealand.穏やかなしゃべり口調が人気（噂）His tender tone is very popular among students (maybe)来週はテストと討論の課題がありますが！I have test and debate in next week!来月イベントあるから１日に四時間くらいギター弾かなきゃいけませんが！I have to practice guitar for about 4 hours because of the event in next month!毎日楽しんでますwI'm enjoying my life!

誕生日でした
４月１４日は誕生日でした!4th April was my birthdayいええーーーーーーーーいい！！！Yeeeeaahahahhhhhh!!!!!もうとてもじゃないけど「１０代です」なんて言えないよーーーー！！！I'm too old to say "I'm teenager!!"友達の部屋でパーティを開いてもらいまして、I had a party held in my friend's room本当に嬉しかったです。wI was really impressed and delighted!!プレゼントもいろいろもらっちゃってI've got even some presents from themこの一年も実りのある年にしていこうと思います！I'll try to make the most of it in this year as well!

初めて自分の部屋の写真を載せます。For the first time, I upload the photo of my room.前の部屋と比べるとかなり綺麗になったんじゃないかとI reckon it looks much more beautiful than previous one.前が相当ひどかっただけかもしれませんがIt can be just because previous was terrible..wそしてこれが最近購入した、ルナというアメリカのメーカーのギターです。And this is the guitar I recently bought, made by LUNA in America.ボディが綺麗～I like its body's design..

誕生日
昨日、友達の誕生日ということでライブを決行！As yesterday was my friend's birthday, I held a live concert for him!僕にとって２回目となる人前でのギター演奏でした。This is the second guitar-play in front of audience in my life.多少緊張して、リフを間違えたりペースが早くなったりしたけれども、なんとか大きいミスもせずに最後までやれました。Since I was a bit nervous, I played a wrong tab and speeded up our pace by mistake, but anyway we could carry out this without significant mistakes.友達は感動して泣いておりました。My friend was so impressed that he cried. やったね！w Yay!!w僕はカメラを持って行ってなかったので、誰かから写真をもらったら載せようと思います。I didn't bring my camera yesterday, so I'll put some pictures on this page if I get them from someone. とりあえず、昨日は楽しかった！！After all it was fun!そしてお誕生日おめでとう！And happy birthday to you!ちなみに以下が演奏した曲目です。By the way, the followings are the songs we played.Pieces by Sum41Wake me up when September ends by Green DayThe reason by HoobastankCreep by RadioheadScotty doesn't know by Lustra

係風捕影 とりとめがなくてあてにならないこと。...にこにこして話しかけると、相手は笑みて答える。If I speak to someone with smile, the one will smile back to me.大声でどなれば、むっとしてにらみ返す。If I yell out, the one will glare at me.物売りが来る。A sales person comes.いらないよと、つっけんどんに言うと、ピシャリと戸を引きしめて出て行く。...If I say 'I don't need it' bluntly, the person will shut the door and leave....

お別れ
去年の８月から働き始めて、約半年。It's been almost half a year since I started working there last August.昨日、今までお世話になったマネージャーさん達が、モーテルでの契約を終え、故郷に帰りました。Yesterday, the managers who looked after me left for their hometown due to the expiration of contracts. 向かって左が、ケルビン。Kelvin is at your left hand side. 右がゲイル。The right is Gail. ケルビンは本当に冗談が好きで、いつもからかわれていましたKelvin does like joke and often teases me. ゲイルは大声で怒ったりとかして結構怖かったけど、いつも僕によくしてくれました。Gail gets scary because sometimes she yells out, but she always gives me a favor. ニュージーランドで二つ目のバイト。This is the second part-time job in New Zealand.とても良い経験ができました。It was a good experience.二人とも英語速くて聞き取れない事もたくさんあったしBoth of them speak so fast that I couldn't catch what they say in English怒られたこともあったしI got told offお土産あげたら抱きしめられるほど喜んでくれたしThey were as delighted at my souvenir as they hold me夢を実現できるようにがんばれって言ってくれたしThey cheered me up to make my dream come true僕がニュージーランドから出て行くまで一緒に仕事したかったけどI wanted them to work together until I leave New Zealand, though...ちょっと残念。It's a bit sad.結構さびしい。wI feel very lonely.ニュープリマスに住んでるらしいので、いつか会いに行きたいと思います。They say they live in New Plymouth, so I would like to see them one day. いままでありがとうございました。Thank you very much for everything. あ、住所聞いてない。Oh, I forgot to ask them their address.

久々に忙しいお仕事♪
ニュージーランドの夏は旅行に最適な気候にも関わらず、僕が働いてるモーテルにはお客さんが少ない。。。。。Though the summer in New Zealand is very good season for travel, the motel that I work for holds just a few guests.....と思ったら、今日は結構忙しかった！BUT! I've got busy today!! 「ドアの裏、ソファの裏も掃除機かけてね！」 "Don't forget to vacuum behind doors and couches! " 「窓枠もきっちり、内側外側両方やっておいて！」 "Do the window frames both inside and outside properly!"なかなか細かいとこまでお願いされ、今日は四時間働きました。I was asked to check the details, and worked for four hours as a result today. ただ、寝坊したのと仕事が長かったのとで朝食、昼食を逃してしまったーーーー！！But I missed breakfast and lunch due to oversleeping and long-hour-job!!明日もあるので、しっかり朝食をとって行こうと思います。I've got my shift tomorrow as well, so I'll make sure to have breakfast and go. そしてもうすぐ、お世話になったマネージャーさんがこのモーテルを去ってしまうので、明日あたりに写真でもとってこようと思います。Well, the manager who has taken care of me is leaving this motel soon, so I wonder I'll take pictures with her tomorrow.ではおやすみなさい。Have a good night.

ニュージーランドに戻った！！
ニュージーランドに帰って参りました。I came back to New Zealand.課題もでていたけれども、たいした量でもなかったので、もう終わりました。Though I've got some assignments, it was nothing so I've done them already.今は部活やってNow I enjoy club activityのんびりギター弾いてPlay the guitar without anything annoyingそう言えば、今日は妹がセンター試験に挑戦中。By the way, today my sisters are undergoing University Center Examination.うまくやってるかな。I wonder how they are doing.僕よりもいい点数とって欲しいな。I want them to get better point than I.日本に居る間は本当に楽しい思いをさせてもらいましたWhile I was in Japan, I had got many many fantastic experience. 同窓会とか成人式当日の夜の飲み会とかThe reunion and the drinking party on Coming-of-Age Day.友達に感謝Great appreciation to my friendsまた帰るときには連絡をしたいと思います。I'd like to let them know when I go back there.

京都の旅行！
はいー新年があけましたAlright, New Year came!２００８年、おめでとう！！Happy New Year, 2008!!何かと忙しかったため、京都のぶんを書こうとして結局時間があいてしまいましたね。I've been so busy that I couldn't help giving up writing this web log for a while.では写真を～Well, these are the pictures~茶道部で行ったので茶道体験をさせてもらいました。As Tea Ceremony club members got together, we tried Tea Ceremony there.クリスマスカラーのねりきり～Nerikiri in Christmas Color!お抹茶ももちろんいただきました。Of course we had Green Tea as well. 絞り染めの工房です。It's the factory of tie-dyeing.はーい染めてますよーOK~ we are dyeing now泊まったホテル！豪華だけど、安かった！This is the hotel that we stayed, looks luxury but was cheap!深く感銘をうけた抹茶アイスクリーム。The impressive Green Tea ice cream.今回の旅行で卒業となる先輩。今までいろいろありがとうございました！She is my older friend who graduates in this trip. Thank you very much for everything!言わずとしれた、清水寺！Absolutely well-known! Kiyomizudera Temple!仁王さんが怒ってらっしゃる。Niou God gets angry!!２００７年の漢字！The kanji of 2007!清水の舞台は高いなあ。How high the stage of Kiyomizu is!

今日は友達と飲みに行ってきます！Today, I'm going to drink with my friends!さてさて昨日の続きです。Anyway, let's take over from yesterday.東京で飲んで騒いだあとは名古屋に向かいました。After alcohol in Tokyo, I visited Nagoya.ここでは服をひたすら買い、名古屋港水族館に行って海洋生物ながめて楽しんでました！I took long time to purchase my clothes, and enjoyed watching marine creatures at Nagoya Port Aquarium. （綺麗なイルミネーション）"A beautiful illumination"（一日一回だけ郵便物をとりに来るとか。）"They seem to get mails once a day"（浦島太郎のからくり記念碑）"A wind-up monument of Urashima Taro"（ガラス越しに不細工だのなんだの言いまくってました）"We kept saying bad looking or something like that"（一匹でかいのがいますね）"One is outstandingly big"（村の中に水路が通ってました）"We found a channel through the village"（嘘つきは手が抜けなくなってしまう！！）"Liars can't get back their hands!"（だって気になったんだもの！）"Because I couldn't help paying attention to it!"（暗くなってからが本当に綺麗でした）"It was quite beautiful after dark"

帰国と旅行
１２月１４日に日本に帰国しました！I arrived at Japan on December 14th!今回がようやく気持ちよく遊べる帰国となりました。Finally I can feel free to do what I want to do in Japan.１２月１４日から２３日まで日本の３都市を旅しました！I visited 3 cities in Japan from December 14th to 23rd!東京、名古屋、京都。。。 Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto...楽しくてしょうがなかった９日間でした。wIt was absolutely fantastic and enjoyable 9 days.以下はその写真です。The followings are the picture of my travel.まずは東京！First of all, Tokyo!横浜のラーメン博物館に行ったあと、ひたすら飲んでカラオケ！After visiting Noodle Museum, we kept drinking and karaoke３日連続飲み会！Drinking party for 3 days!やはり日本の飯はうまかった。。。After all, Japanese meals were so nice....名古屋はまた明日！Tomorrow, I'll jot down about Nagoya! （久々に食べた日本のラーメンは感動！）"Japanese noodles were impressive due to long absence!" （アホ全開です）"Being completely silly.." （なんと開始は17:30でした！）"It was started at 17:30!!" （歌ってます）"Singing" （気持ちよくなってます）"Elevating" （はじけてます）"Going mad"

今日
ようやくほとんどの課題が終わりました。Today I've finished almost all assignments.今日はプレゼンテーションとテストとリサーチ結果の提出！I've done a presentation, test and handed in the results of my research!あんまり疲れてたもんだから帰ってきて夕飯を食べた後、７時から１１時まで寝てしまった！I was so exhausted that I was sleeping from 7 to 11 after dinner.そして今３時ですが眠れなくなったので日記を書いています。Then now I can't sleep, so I'm writing a diary.日本に帰るまであとちょっと！It won't be long before I'm going back to Japan!楽しみ～～～～I'm looking forward to it~~~~

びっくり！！
今日は街で大きなイベントがあったらしいですI heard that a big event was held in town today.僕は行ってないのですが、みんなで裸になっちゃおうとイベント。I didn't go, but it was one that everyone gets together and naked.友達が行って、ある女性と一緒に写真とってきてました。A friend of mine went there and took a picture with a girl who was in an adult video.もちろん彼女は裸でしたwOf course she was completely naked.wニュージーすげーーーー！！Amazing New Zealand! 性に関してはすごくオープンですなー They are not so strict and sensitive about gender. そういえば今日はおばあちゃんの誕生日！！By the way, today is my grandmother's birthday!おめでとう！Happy birthday!日本に帰ったときにプレゼントを持って行こうと思います！I'll bring something for her when I get back to Japan!

初バンド
１週間前に開かれた一年で２番目に大きなイベントで、初めてステージの上でギターを演奏しました。 彼らと一緒に。I played the guitar on the stage for the first time in the second biggest event in a year held a week ago. I did with them.ベニー、ネイサン、たかあき、やまと。Benny, Nathan, Takaaki, Yamato.練習とかで時間を合わせ、場所をとるのが大変だったけど。It was so troublesome to meet each other on time and book a space to practice, though.ネイサンのギターの音が本番であまり聞こえなかったけど。On the stage, the sound of nathan's guitar was quite small, thoughベニーはちょっと音外してたけど。Benny sang in a tone which was a bit out of tune, though.僕は焦ってペース速くしちゃったけど。I was so nervous that my pace got faster and faster, though.楽しかった！！Very enjoyable!!もっともっとギターが好きになった一夜でした。My enthusiasm to play the guitar got stronger at this night. 次はもっと質を上げて！Next time, I promise to give higher quality!

誕生日なので
１１日が友達の誕生日だったので、パーティを企画し、料理をしてみました。Since 11th was my friend's birthday, I organized a party and cooked for him.豚の角煮！Deep stewed pork with soy sauce!結構時間をかけてじっくり煮込んだので、味もしっかりついていてなかなかおいしかった！As I simmered it for long time, the pork got tasty and very delicious!!みんなの反応も上々！Everyone looked very pleased with the taste!準備のために欲しかった鍋を買ったり、その他にもプレゼントを渡したりしたため、１週間分のバイト代が１日で無くなりましたが。。。Due to the preparation for this party, I bought a pot that I have wanted to buy and gave him another present, and as a result, my wage for a week has gone completely....ま、いっか。But it doesn't matter.また何か機会を見つけて料理してみようと思います！I'll try other dishes if I have opportunity!

ロトルア旅行
e h去る木曜日と金曜日にロトルアへ行ってきました！Last Thursday and Friday, I went to Rotorua!茶道部のメンバーで！With the members of tea ceremony club!ロトルアは温泉で有名な街であるため、近づくにつれ、硫黄臭くなって行きます！As Rotorua is known widely as hot spring town, it gradually gets more sulfur smell as I'm getting closer!宿で温泉に入って翌日はリュージュ！We took hot spring, and tried Luge in the next day!ブレーキとハンドルのついたそりのような乗り物に乗って、一気に下り坂を滑り降ります！I slided down the down slope at once by a ride-on like a coaster which has a break and handle! 本当に風が心地よく、スピードが増すたびに激しくなる揺れがとても刺激的！！ The wind was really comfortable and it was so refreshing to get more quake as the speed increases!たまにスピード出し過ぎで壁にぶつかったりとか。。。Sometimes I happened to cream into the fence due to over 人生で一番楽しめた乗り物でした。 It was the most fascinating ride-on in my life.山の上からはロトルアの町並みも一望できました。From the top of the mountain, we could have a full view of Rotorua town. 終わったあとは、あるきれいな公園の門のところで写真を一枚。After that, I took a photo at the gate of a certain beautiful park. 初めて休みらしい休みをすごした気がするなあ。I wonder this is the first holiday that is really like holiday.旅行はいいもんです！Travel is nice!もっとバイトしてお金をためてみよう。I'll try to save money by part-time job!

さくら祭り
まずは写真を５枚ほど。。。 ９月の２２日にサクラ祭りが開かれました！Sakura Festival was held on 22nd, September!満開の綺麗なさくらと各国の食べ物と様々な催し物のおかげで人だらけ！Due to full bloom of cherry blossom, each ethnic dishes and various performances, the college was crowded with people!僕は去年と同様に茶道、よさこい、剣道の３つで楽しませる側にまわりました。I became the performer of Tea Ceremony, Yosakoi Dance and Kendo as well as last year. 茶道は今年卒業の先輩達にお茶を点ててもらったため、僕は主にお茶の準備をしていました。In Tea Ceremony, my older friends who are going to graduate from here made green tea, so I mainly prepared for the green tea.お菓子は浜幸で買った和三盆～～The sweets are WASANBON which I bought in Hamako. 今年のよさこいは去年よりもさらに難しく、しかし躍動的で魅力的なものとなりました。 This year, Yosakoi dance got much harder, but more dynamic and attractive than last year. 動画の載せ方が分からないので見せられませんけども。。。。。 I wish I could show it but I don't know how to put it on this blog. でも緊張と高揚感のせいで、途中で鳴子を折ったり、中途半端な動きをするなどの失敗もちらほら Yet I made a few mistakes such as breaking Naruko and inappropriate movement due to tensed and elevated feeling. 剣道ではずっと剣道の説明と進行をやっていました。 In Kendo, I explained about Kendo and ran the performance. 計画をメールで連絡したり、キャプテン会議に出たりと何かと忙しかったですが、なんとか成功させることができました。 As I had to send e-mails to tell members the plan and attend captain meeting, I was really busy. Finally I could manage to make it. 最近は本当に毎日が有意義で楽しいです。 These days, everyday is so meaningful that I'm quite pleased with it. 有意義＝多忙 なわけで、ブログの更新をするのも一苦労。 meaningful=frantic so it's very hard to even renew my blog! 部屋の掃除なんて３週間くらいできませんでした！！ I haven't been able to tidy up my room for 3 weeks!! 掃除機の吸引力が低いのもやる気を無くす原因ではありますが。 The weak sucking force of a sweeper is also a cause to depress my incentive. ホールの掃除機は、多分掃除機としての自覚がないのでしょう。 I reckon my hall's sweeper does not have awareness as a sweeper. あれくらいなら自分で吸った方がパワーがあるんじゃないかというかんじ。。。。 Maybe I can swallow better than it でも今、ようやく課題やテストも終わり、やっと時間ができました。 But now, finally I finished my assignments and test, and have free time.明日はバイトが終わった後、友達と映画を見に行きます。Tomorrow I'll go to see movie with my friends after part-time job!そして晩ご飯は街でゆっくりと～Then we'll have dinner for a while~ うはー楽しみ！！Wow, it should be fantastic!! おやすみなさい～ Good night~

ニュージーランドでかいもの
でかい！！Big!!でかい！！Big!!!でかいんだよ！！It's too big!!いやーーー４リットルはでかすぎるでしょ！！Well......4 litre is too big, isn't it!?見えますかね？Can you see??４リットルです。It's 4 Liter. ５人でコーヒーリキュールを飲むときに買ったのですが、やはり飲みきれませんでした。I bought it when 5 of us drank coffee liquor, but anyway we couldn't finish it.手強いね！Difficult!

うどん！
香川の母親の実家に行き、うどんを食べてきました。I went to my mother's home and ate Udon.やっぱり本場香川のうどんはうまいです。Anyway, the Udon of Kagawa, which is the best place of Udon, is nice.写真をとれなかったのが残念ですが。It's regrettable that I couldn't take a picture of it.あのうどん屋にはもう１０年以上通っております。I have been to the Udon stall for over 10 years.小さいときから、祖父母の家に行ったときは必ず。Since I was an infant, whenever I go to my grandparents' house.必ずしも旨いところではないそうですが、しかし！！It is not necessarily delicious Udon. But!!僕が行き始めてからもずっとかわらずあのダシを提供してくれているあの店が僕は大好きです。I like that stall that serves same soup as since I began to go there. １４０円で買える幸せ。I can buy the happiness by 140 yen.かけうどんがやっぱり一番だな！！After all, Kakeudon is the best!!

ながらくのご無沙汰
ひさびさの更新です。Long time no see.この冬休みは非常に忙しかったので更新がなかなかできなかったのです。I have been so busy over this winter break that I couldn't add my diary. 超多忙でした！ It was really busy holiday!その超多忙スケジュールをご紹介！I'll tell you my bloody busy schedule!! 朝８時起床！！ Wake up at 8 am!! １０分で朝食！ Have breakfaast in 10 minutes! ８時半に部屋を出て自転車でバイト先へ。 Leave for the motel by bicycle at 8:30 ９時バイト開始！ Start working at 9 am! １２時にバイト終了！ Finish at 12!そして寮に戻るが、帰りは登り坂なのできつい！And then go back to my room, but it's severe for me to bike up the upward slope! そして１２時半から翻訳の授業！ Start studying translation at 12;30! ２時半に終了！ Finish class at 2:30! 軽く仮眠をとりギターを弾き、夕食を食べ Take a nap, play the guitar, and have dinner. ７時頃から翻訳課題開始！ Start assignment of translation around 7 pm! グループ’ワークは時間がかかるので２時までかかる！ As it takes us long time to finish it together, we have to work on it until 2! 就寝！！ Go to bed!! そして同じようにバイトへ。。。。 And then go for part-time job as usual.....の繰り返し。These are continued again and again.いそがしーねー！！How busy it is!!こんな調子の３週間！！This is my last three weeks!!充実してて、実に面白かった。。It was really meaningful and fascinating... 今は訳あり帰国で、ちょっと遅い休みを楽しんでます。 And now, I'm in Japan with some reason and enjoy a bit late holiday.

良いおしらせと悪いおしらせ
悪いおしらせ！！Bad News!!というのは！！, which is......バイトクビになりました！！！（がーん）I got the sack with my part-time job!!! 先週の土曜日で最後でした。 Last Saturday was my final shift. いままで一緒に働いてくれた人にお礼を言ってわかれてきました。。。。I expressed my appreciation to those who had worked together, and left there.... 良いお知らせというのは！！What is good news!!??１学期終了！！First term is over!!エッセイの評価が良かった！I got a good grade in my essay!!そしてAnd!!バイト新しいのを見つけた！！（早い！！）I found a new job!! (Quick!!)またモーテルです。It's motel again. 今度は１週間に６回くらいの頻度で行きます。This time I'll work about six times a week. １回約３時間とすれば週１８時間！！If I work 3 hours per day, it's going to be 18 hours per week!! いいですね～ It's a good payment.一緒に働いてる人も感じのいい人ばかりだし。I'm quite happy with every my co-workers. 毎朝、相手よりも先に挨拶するのを心がけてます。I try to greet them before they do every morning. 翻訳の授業も始まりました。The class of translation also started already. 風邪引かないようにがんばろう。I'm do my best with trying not to catch a cold.

ニュージーランドでかいもの３
学校から街へ行くときに通るガソリンスタンド、bp。I pass a gas stand on the way to town, which is called bp.そこにあるアイスクリームコーナーで買えるこのアイスクリーム。This is the ice cream that I can buy at its ice cream counter. 写真はシングルです。This is single scoop.ええ、お間違え無く。Yes, don't misunderstand.シングルです。It's single.ダブルではありませんIt's not double.いやーーでかいですねYeah, it's huge.シングルとはいえ、２回アイスすくってくれますからね～Though it's single, they scoop ice cream twice. 太っ腹だね。They are generous, aren't they?さらに夜中にいくともっと激しく盛ってくれるらしい。。Moreover, it is said that they give us much more at midnight. さらにさらに、ここにはトリプルまであります。Furthermore, they serve triple one as well. どんだけでかいんだろう。。。I wonder how big it is...頼んでみたいけど、絶対に食べきれないと思う。I would like to try it, but I don't think I can finish it absolutely.ちなみにシングルは１ドル７０セント。By the way, single scoop costs me 1.70$.安いなーIt's cheap!そしてうまい。And very nice. 冬本番ですが、そんなの気にせず食べていきたいと思いますWinter is already here, but I would like to keep trying it without caring about winter.

ニュージーランドでかい物
以前マフィンをお伝えしましたが、今回は！！Last time I showed a big muffin, but this time .....!!!!トイレットペーパーです！！Toilet roll!!いやー。。。でかいね。Wow..... it's huge..直径３０センチくらいあるかもしれない。。。。Its diameter can be about 30 centmeters.....どんだけでかいんだ。How huge it is...これがたまに２日で無くなるときがあります。Sometimes it disappears within 2 days.こまったもんです。It's nonsense.拭きすぎだ！と言いたい。I want to say "You wipe too much!"とにかく、でかいもの２つ目でした。Anyway, this is the second something big.

スペイン語修了
２月からやっていたスペイン語講座が今日終わりました。The Spanish class which I had begun to go since last February was over today.１６回の授業。!6 times class.途中でアルバイトや日本への一時帰国なんかで３回ほど休みました。In the middle of the term, I was absent from the class for three times due to a part-time job and temporary leave to Japan.でも！！But!!今日！！！Today!!ついに！！！Finally!!!やりとげました！！！I've done it!!!いえーーーいいい！！Yeahhhh!!!!修了証書（普通の紙）ももらってもう満足です。I got the certification of attendance (normal paper), and I'm enough satisfied.もちろんしゃべれます。（気のせい）Of course I can converse. (Maybe not)また来年の１月から次のレベルに挑戦してみようと思います。I'm going to try the next stage from January in next year.

My co-workers
スーパーマーケットの近くにあるモーテルで４月から働いています。I began to work in a motel near from a supermarket since last April.人生初の！！The First Time In My Life!!定職！！Regular Job!!すばらしい！！Sweet!!自立した、という感じがします。I feel like being independent.彼らは一緒に働いている人たちです。They are my co-bananas. 国籍はニュージーランド、日本、中国、コンゴと様々。We have various nationalities, New Zealand, Japan, China, and Congo.多国籍企業！？Multinational Enterprize!?なんとまあ女の人ばかりですね～Oh, everyone is female~~モーテルだからしょうがないけど。though it's quite common for a motel.でも時給はいいし、最近掃除うまくなった気がするし。But salaray is good, and I feel like that I became better at cleaning. とにかくいい経験になります！楽しんでます。I enjoy it.ところで、ひとつ報告が。By the way, I have an announcement.実は２月ごろから剣道の練習の直後に血尿が出ていたのですが、この間X線写真を撮ってきたところ、何も異常はみつからなかったとのこと。To tell the truth, every after the practice of kendo, I have had bloody piss, but when I took an X-ray photograph the other day, there was nothing wrong with my organs.一安心です。It makes me ease.ということで剣道は最近控えめにしております。That is why I don't practice kendo very hard.血尿も出ていません。ご心配なく！No bloody piss any more. No worry!

ニュージーランドのでかい物
いやーでかいきのこですねーOh, what a big mushroom it is~~~と思いきや、実はスーパーで買えるマフィンでした。Though you thought like that, actually this a muffin which I can buy at supermarket.値段は１ドル５０セント。It was 1.5$.よこに普通の卵とほかほかミルクを置いてみました。I tried putting a normal egg and hot milk.。。。。でかいっすね。.......It's huge, isn't it..いくらこっちの人がよく食べるとは言ってもこれは凄すぎだろ。Even though New Zealanders eat a lot, this is too enoormous.本日アルバイトで昼ご飯抜きだったので帰りに買ってみました。Today I missed my lunch because of part-time job, so I bought this on the way back to my room.とてもお腹すいてたのですが、半分まで食べてもう飽きました。Though I was quite hungry, I got tired of it at the half of it.なかなか手強い。It's quite hard work.しかしここまできたら引き下がれません！But I can't give it up at this point!!残りを冷蔵庫にしまうことは敗北を意味します。If I put the rest of it in the fridge, it means lost. ということでラストスパーと！！（まだ半分なのに）Well, l put on a last spurt!やりました！I made it!!勝ちました。I defeated it.実際うまいんでしょうけどね。I think it should be delicious actually.量がね。The amount is...クッキングペーパーからはみ出してる部分は固くておいしいんですけどね。A part of muffin hanging out of cooking paper is hard and delicious.あれだけで５０セントで売られてたら、ショーケースの前で立ち止まる回数がもっと増えるでしょう。If only that part is sold by 50 cents, the number that I stop in front of the show case will increase. いろんな意味で。with various meaning. とにかくごちそうさまでした。Anyway, it was good sweet. 。。。よし、これから晩飯だ。......Well, let's have dinner from now.

お酒を飲んだ
どうも最近は課題で忙しいのです。I'm quite busy due to my assignments somehow.計画的にはやっているので遅れたりはしてないけれども、部活とバイトと課題とで暇な時間が皆無。I have done them with planning, so I didn't delay to hand them in, but I have no free time because of club, part-time job and assignments.充実してる！と考えたらいいけれども、それでもやっぱり何にもない日が欲しかったりします。If I think "My life is meaningful!!", it's no problem. Yet sometimes I want to have a day that I have no duty.うむむ、ま、いいか。Umm, anyway, alright alright.日本に帰ったらちんたらしよう。I'll linger around there if I go back to Japan.持って帰って来た日本酒を友達と一緒にいただきました。I tasted the Japanese Sake with my friends.でも不評。But it wasn't popular.なんでじゃー！！高知の地酒やぞ～～！！Why not!!!?? It's Kochi's original one!!熱燗にすればおいしいのにー ひたすらまずそうな顔をしよって。If you warm it, it's quite good though. They seemed not to like it at all.この間「Tears in Heaven」を披露しました。The other day, I played "Tears in Heaven".一月くらいに弾いてくれ、と言われ、練習さぼりさぼりやってようやくこの間弾きました。I was asked to play it in January, and finally I played it with long truant.ミスいっぱいしたけども喜んでもらえて良かった。Though I made a lot of mistakes, it's my pleasure that she was pleased with it.ええ、今度は「歌います」とも！！Yeah, I'll "sing" next time!!練習しなきゃ～I should practice it more~とりあえず一週間の休みまで突っ走ります！Anyway, I will keep it up until the one week break!

(Rabelais) ...先日中村文昭氏の講演CDを拝聴しました。The other day, I listened to the CD of Mr.Nakamura Fumiaki's lecture.そのなかで氏は「今なんのためにこれをやっているのか？目的をはっきりさせろ」とおっしゃっていました。And he said "What do you do this for now? Make your purpose clear."今なんのためにこの科目をやっているのか。What am I studying this subject for now?課題を出して、いい成績をとること、が目的では将来に連接しないでしょう。If the goal is handing in the assignments and having good grade, it won't connect to my future.次第に目標を鮮明にしていくことが肝心である、と強く気づかされました。I keenly realized that it was necessary for me to make my goal clearer and clearer.

果物詰めたー
夏学期が終わるなりネイピアに行って果物工場でリンゴ箱詰めのアルバイトをしてきましたAs soon as the summer term ended, we went to Napier to try a part-time job to pack apples in a fruit pack-house. 生まれて初めての仕事！！The first job in my life!!２週間で８００ドルほどの収入！Approximately 800 dollars of profit for 2 weeks!朝７時から夕方５時まで１時間の休み時間のみの計９時間労働。。。9 hours-working per day from 7 am to 5 pm with only 1 hour-rest..そして食事は全て自分たちで。And cooking our foods on our own. なかなか疲れる経験でした。It was quite tough experience for me工場で働いてへとへとなのに、それから夕飯と翌日の弁当を作らなければいけないというのはほんとにもうやる気がでないというか。。Though we were exhausted after the work in the pack-house, we had to cook our dinner and lunch for following day. What an interesting and wonderful duty it is.. しかしそこで多くの人に助けてもらいました。However, lots of people helped us. 台所はあっても自分で食器、調理道具を準備しなければいけないという理不尽きわまりない環境のなかで、鍋、包丁、フライパン等々を貸してくれたり、余った食糧をくれたり。They lent us their pots, knives, pans and so forth, and gave us their rest of food in the extremely unreasonable environment that we had to prepare some dishes, cutleries and equipment to cook though there were kitchens. 彼らのおかげでなんとか２週間やり抜くことができました。Because of them, we could manage to survive and complete it after 2 weeks. また誕生日には友達と一緒にレストランで食事を。And on my birthday, I had dinner with friends in a restaurant. アルバイト中のささやかな贅沢。It was a little luxury during my part-time job. そしてやたらとでかいみかんをプレゼントとしていただきました。Then they gave me an unusually big mandarin orange as a birthday present. でもでかすぎて、外見が怖くて。。。。。But it was too big, and the appearance was too scary..結局食べられませんでした。As a result, I couldn’t eat it.腐りました。It was decayed. 翌日は出発の日！ みなさんとお別れ。The following day was departure!! Parting with everyone. 僕らが車に乗り込むその瞬間までずっと見守ってくれていました。They were with us until the last minute that we got on the car.お金も友達も良き思い出も得ることができた、有意義な２週間でした。It was a meaningful 2 weeks that we could have money, friends, and good memory.

See you when I see you next time
昨日ついにあの子が行きましたYesterday, finally that girl left.ウェリントンに。To Wellington.全く新しい環境に旅立って行きました。She went to an entirely new environment.いろんなものもらいました。I got a lot of things from her~グループ１０で一緒に勉強始めて、企画とかいろいろやってもらって、暇なときにチャットに付き合ってもらって。。。。We began to study together in group 10. I asked you to organize many parties. You spent your time for me to chat with me when I'm free. ありがとうね！ちえ！！Thank you very much, Chie!乗り切って来い！Overcome it!!行ってらっしゃい！See you again!!そして夜はまた別のあいつのお別れパーティをやりました。Then at night I had a farewell party for another fellow僕はゆず３曲を弾き語り。。。I played three songs written by Yuzu with guitar and singing..声つぶれそうになったけど、なんとか歌いきることができました。My throat almost got something wrong, but I could manage to sing all of them. そしてドラマーであるあいつも混ざって一緒に演奏してました。After that, he, a drummer, joined us and play together. 彼のためのオリジナルDVDもみんなで作って上映してました。We played our original DVD for him which we produced. こういうのを見ると、いかに彼がみんなと親しかったかがわかります。If I see such a party, I can see how friendly he was to everyone.本当にいい夜だった。It was really good night. おつかれさん、ひろゆき！！！Well done, Hiroyuki!おまえはパイロットになれるさ！I'm sure you can be a pilot!!またあえる日までSee you when I see you next time

Culture event
昨日は街の中心で様々な国の文化を紹介する催し物がありました。Yesterday we had an event to show various countries' culture at the square in town.タイ、ベトナム、カンボジア、インド、。。。。。Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, India....ネイピア行きのバスを予約したり、市民図書館の会員登録をしたりとなにかと忙しかったのであんまりじっくりとは楽しめなかったです。Since I was as busy as I booked the bus services to Napier and made my account of the city library, I couldn't take long time to enjoy it. タイダンスを見たのと、ベトナムの春巻きを食べたくらい。I just watched Thai dance and tried Vietnam spring roll.多分来年もあるだろうから今度はもっと時間をかけてまわりたい。Probably it will be held again in next year, so I want to take more time to enjoy this event. 今回は。。。カメラ持って行きました！！！This time.... I brought my camera surely!!でもあんまり撮ってない！！！However, I didn't take many pictures!!!
