The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 6th that it had successfully conducted an exercise on a new anti-submarine missile system in the waters of the Sea of Japan.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 6th that the Corvette ship of the Pacific Fleet in the Far East conducted a missile launch exercise of the new anti-submarine system "Otobeto" in the waters of the Sea of Japan.
He also released a video of the missile being launched from the ship, claiming that the missile hit a target underwater and succeeded.
According to the Ministry of Defense, this is a new complex system that can use different types of missiles.
According to the Russian media, it has a maximum range of 50 kilometers, a maximum speed of Mach 2.5, and can reach a depth of 800 meters, so it will be installed on corvette ships and frigates.
As the conflict with each country deepens over Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, it seems that there is an aim to restrain Japan and the United States.
