長い人生、健康でいられることが一番。
この歳になるとつくづくそう思います。
昨年から、肝機能の低下（今年になって改善)
太り気味など、不安要素が増殖中。。。。。
で、来月に人間ドックを受けることにしました。
そんな健康に関して敏感になっているとき、５月２８日のヘラルドトレビューンを見ていたら、、、、
"New doubt is raised over prostate cancer tests"とありました。
このテストは、PSAと呼ばれ私も昨年の人間ドックで受けました。
血液をとって１ミリリッター当たりのプロテイン量をナノグラム単位で計測します。
しかし、最新の研究では、この値を超えなくてもがんである場合があるとの新たな研究が出たというものです。

...the new study, published on Thursday in The New England Journal of Medicine, reports that as many as 15 percent of men with PSA levels less than 4 had cancer when their prostates were assessed with biopsies. While higher PSA levels confer greater risk, there appears to be no level at which there is no risk of prostate cancer, said the lead investigator, Dr, Ian Thomapson, chief of urology at the University of Texas Health Sceience Center in San Antonio.
