This is the story of “The Lotus Flower.”

It is said that lotus flowers are very spiritual.
I myself have been observing lotus flowers for about 10 years because I am interested in them. The thicker the muddy water, or the dirtier the water, the bigger the lotus flower.
The closer the water is to fresh water, the cleaner it is, the smaller the lotus flower seems to bloom.
In other words, it must indicate that the muddy water of human suffering, anguish, and vexation enables the lotus flower (which may be enlightenment, but it is a big enlightenment).
The lotus flower, therefore, rises out of the muddy water.
Seeing that flower, people are encouraged and gain strength.
Perhaps that is why the lotus flower exists.

The darker the muddy water, the more beautiful and bigger the lotus flower blooms.
People, too, who have gone through a lot of hardships, who have not been rewarded in time, who have struggled and suffered, and who have carried great sorrows, may eventually bloom into a large flower.
Even if they were brought up in a clean environment with clean water, that is, in a clean environment without any inconvenience, and their parents removed their disabilities and hardships, I do not believe that their flowers would bloom strongly.
The role of parents and supervisors is to encourage people to take on difficulties and obstacles.
I would like to introduce a poem titled “The Root of Life” by Mitsuo Aida.
“When I hold back the tears
When I endure my sorrow
Without complaining
When you answer to sorrow
When you stand still and answer criticism
When you suppress your anger
When you stand still in humiliation
The color of your eyes
grows deeper
