I went to the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery at the third times today, twice as a visitor of Tokyo Collection, JFW in Tokyo.
This morning I saw Hisui' show, which was designed by Hiroko Ito.
I sat on the seat next to the buyer of a famous speciality stores in Tokyo. Maybe Ms. Ito will expands her business, I am very happy because I love her clothings. They have the originality.
This season's theme is " Wa(Japanese Style)". There were five scenes in her collection. First, printed clothings. Second, pure, white dresses and set-ups. Third, she showed strong contrast of colors--blue and white, Red and white.
Fourth, light black printed silk's one-peaces. those were a highlight of today's collections, I thought. Ms. Ito has made casual clothings everytime. Her many fans love her casuel style. But she has the potency to make elegant clothings.
Fifth, moss-green's cut-and sawns.
She made many pintucks on the back of the tops. micrmini hot pants and bamuda pants.
I guess she would be delighted that Japanese Goverment supports fashion creation, so she chosed the theme " Wa(Japanese Style)". I felt drams sounded like Japanese drams, last scene's guitars like samisens. The back screen became " kurenai"(red) like the dusk of the autumn. it was very dramatic, like Kabuki.
