Wellerチェックで、覗いたBBCのサイトT in the park 2006で、このGigに参加したバンドを知り、聴いてみたいなあと 思ったら、こんなアルバムがあったのですね。
最近のUKで、うけているバンドの代表曲を集めたコンビネーションアルバムです。
選曲は、NMEが選んだだけあって、とっても良いです。ヘビロテなのは、2005のCD1ですね。Ordinary Boys, Scissor Sistersの曲がお気に入りです。
昨日のベストヒットUSAで紹介していた、口笛の曲Peter Bjorn and Johnの「Young Folks」も2006のDisc 2に入っています。ちょっと気になるバンドですね。
他にも、Kaiser Chiefs、Gorillaz、Franz Ferdinand、The Killers、Yeah Yeah Yeahs、Feeder、Thom Yorkeの曲も収録されてます。
