●ステンドグラス美術館（２）

次は、アンティークオルゴールの演奏である。

Next is the performance of an antique music box.

細い通路を行くセント・マリーズ礼拝堂が会場だ。

The venue is the St. Mary's Chapel, which goes through a narrow passage.

約 100 年前のドイツ製でロッホマンオリジナル社とポリフォン社のアンティークオルゴールだ。

Made in Germany about 100 years ago, it is an antique music box from Loughman Original and Polyphon.

オルゴールの盤面は直径 1 ｍほどのアルミ板に穴を空けたディスクを回転させて音を拾う方式だ。

The surface of the music box is a method of picking up sound by rotating a disc with a hole in an aluminum plate with a diameter of about 1 m.

手回しでゼンマイを撒き、１ペニー硬貨を入れるとディスクが廻りはじめ音楽を奏でる。

Sprinkle the mainspring by hand, insert a penny coin, and the disc will start spinning and play music.

１回転する頃に硬貨がポトッと音がして落ちると終了となる。

ディスクを取り換えて４曲が披露された。

It ends when the coin makes a popping sound and falls around one rotation.

The discs were replaced and four songs were performed.

館内には至る所にリチャーロ・リーが製作したランプが展示されているが多くは撮影禁止だった。

Lamps made by Richard Lee are on display throughout the building, but many were prohibited from taking pictures.

この施設は美術館でもあるが、教会があることからブライダルが本業であったが、このコロナ蔓延によりブライダル事業は中止となってしまったようだ。

This facility is also a museum, but bridal was its main business because of the church, but it seems that the bridal business was canceled due to the spread of this corona.

同じ系列で森を感じる那須高原にも同じような施設を展開している。

Similar facilities are being developed in the Nasu Highlands, where you can feel the forest in the same series.
