心嚢液が貯まっている状態は、心タンポナーデと呼ばれ、心臓の周りに溜まった液体が心臓を圧迫して、全身に血液を送り出すポンプ機能が低下する危険な状態です1. 通常、心臓を包む心膜と心臓との隙間（心嚢）には、心嚢液と呼ばれる液体が存在しますが、心タンポナーデではこの液体が異常に増加し、心臓を圧迫します。原因は心筋梗塞、大動脈解離、外傷などが多いです。症状は息切れ、頻脈、動悸などで、病状が進行するとショック状態になり、顔面蒼白や意識消失などを起こすこともあります。心臓超音波検査やCT検査などの画像検査を用いて診断され、原因となっている病気の治療が行われます。心臓の圧迫が強い場合は心嚢穿刺を行って液体を取り除くことで心臓の機能を回復させます。ただし、心嚢液が少量であれば自然に消失することもあります23. 心タンポナーデが心配な場合は、循環器内科や救急科を受診してください。1
