Then Japanese singers like Masayuki Suzuki alias Martin might be called dark-eyed-soul.
He formed a chorus group with his friends and started his career.
Back then, they were attracted by R&B and soul music, especially doo-wops.
He started his career as a solo singer in 1986 .
Since then, he has worked together with various musicians and performed a lot of love songs about mature romance between adult men and women.
" performing love songs for more than a quarter of a century...
At a concert in 2008, Suzuki talked that he wishes to keep on performing good love songs bearing the title of "vocalist" .

Famous songwriters wrote songs for this album; such as SMAP ) , Touko Furuuchi , and Chikuzen Satou .
Chikuzen is highly appreciated as a composer, but " Walk Of Life " is the first song Chikuzen wrote both words and music for other singer.
His new song " Kimino machihi yukuyo " (I'll visit your town) , words and music by Chikuzen again, is distributed on Suzuki's official label site
