I've been playing these games recently sometimes on the side:
1. MADDEN NFL 2007 (PS2)

This is an incredible game, since my wife loves American Football , and we can play together and she learns the rules of football and English at the same time!
My favorite part of this game is how rich in detail it is, and how when you are playing you can use the "Madden Call" and get John Madden's advice for your next play (if you follow his advice, you usually win.) Also, playing the game is like watching an NFL game, so if you like American Football, then this is THE game to play!
2. DOOM 3 (PC)
I got this game from a co-worker, and got hooked quickly on it. It is very different from the original Doom, and much better than I expected.

The action is a lot like the Biohazard series , and the storyline is a cross between the original Doom and Biohazard. However, the feeling inside the game is a lot like being inside Aliens .
