Toshiki Kadomatsu
No Turns
" was on sale in March 2009.

However, his concert tour was in autumn 2009:
He wanted to go on a tour with musicians who worked on recording together, but they are all in great demand and busy.
So he couldn't go on a tour with his band right after the album was on sale.
He put on live shows on small stages with a small number of musicians in this spring and summer.
He said that every experience of those various live shows pay off later .
At a concert in Osaka, Kadomatsu said that it's such a luxury that he can go on tour with a band consisted of great musicians
Recently, it is somehow possible to record CDs with quality without spending costs.
And he feels that music and CDs are not consumed with appreciation recently.
Since music is not matter, it's invisible and recently he feels that fewer people understand and appreciate great performance and really good sound.
But he is particular about sound, and tries to build up his music spending time and money and personnel just as in the past.
And live performances with those musicians-
Each stage during a tour is important .
He also said that the meanings and styles of concerts are changing, too .
Even so, Kadomatsu is grateful for his fans and listners supporting him for 28 years .
Kadomatsu seldom appears on TV.
He is highly appreciated as a producer, and he's produced various hit songs for famous singers.
Some people might remember winter Olympic in Nagano -the song performed at the closing ceremony was by his band AGHARTA .
But back then, he used the name Taro Oshamambe as a songwriter, not Toshiki Kadomatsu.
To keep working on his music solely and leave his mark in the world , without waning as he gets older.
At the next to last song, Kadomatsu talked that he's become 49 this year.
And declared that he would keep on pushing himself as much as possible with musicians and staffs working together, and with his fans and listeners .
As I heard his speech, I realized that Kadomatsu is overtaking ages of his two lost band members -and sworn friends. (See also Apr. 25, 2008 and Jun. 12, 2008)
And keeps on charging straightly as the title of his new album shows- " No Turns ".
So his speech and the lyrics of this song " Yoru no semi " (cicada in the night) really impressed me at that night.
And his challenge goes on...
