It's already less than one year before the complete transition to digital broadcasting.
(See May 27, 2009)
In this month, main branch of my family introduced a digital TV set. When I visited them and watched the digital TV, I thought that no doubt the images were beautiful and clear. However, no matter how the vision is beautiful, what about the contents...? Now the problem is: When will we buy a digital TV set? My parents aside, I myself don't think that the time to watch TV would increase drastically even if I have a digital TV set. Simply because I have something else to do at home. On the other hand, I've heard a rumor that transition to digital broadcasting costs so much that some TV stations cannot afford to create good programs. If this is true -may I look forward to good programs after summer 2011? By the way- it wassummer 2001July 24, 2011. But back then, I was a college student lodging without TV, and besides, for a few times, I visited abroad for weeks. And I must confess that my memory from2003to summer2006became vague while I was fighting my mental disease. So I'm not sure if I heard the news about transition from analog to digital broadcasting on a massive scale in2001. Even if I heard this news at that point, maybe I might have felt it as an affair of other people. If my memory serves me right, I think that I began to hear drastic annunciation about digital broadcasting suddenly from 2006 or 2007...
