I did some vocal work with my good friend Jeff Fayman ( Immediate Music, Globus) in Los Angeles a few years ago, and one of the songs I sang on was 'Mighty Rivers' (with Anneke van Giersbergen). This you will hear in all its glory on 'Raised in Captivity' (if you buy it). One of the other songs I sang was 'Orchard of Mines'. I was so smitten by both songs, and I thought 'Orchard' had Asia written all over it, that eventually, by hook or by crook, I got the authority for both songs. I love the way Orchard is on Phoenix, but the full orchestral version is awesome, as is Mighty Rivers.
Through that connexion, Anneke guest duetted on 'To Catch a Thief' from iCon II---we duet on 'MR'.
