これが一番重要な問題かもしれませんね。
うちは娘3人（大・高・中）。
今も十分に苦しいんですが、これからますます大変になりそうです。

＊prohibit 「禁止する」から「あまりに値段が高い」という意味になるの？？？と驚きましたが、しっかり辞書にもありました。
in toto [ 全体として、全部で(ラテン語)<類語>in all / in the whole
=as a whole [= totally]
exorbitant [ とんでもない、法外な
=an exorbitant price, amount of money etc is much higher than it should be [= astronomical]
＊軌道(orbit)を外れる？から来ているでしょうが、これまた金額などに使う言葉なんですね。
contiribute to a social problem [ 社会問題の一因になる
threathen to cripple Japan's future [ 日本の未来を損ねかける
cripple [ 無能にする、損ねる
=to damage something badly so that it no longer works or is no longer effective
the current fertility rate of Japan [ 日本の現在の出生率
fertility [ 繁殖能力、受胎能力
=the ability of a person, animal, or plant to produce babies, young animals, or seeds （反） infertility]
＊fertility は「肥沃」という意味しか知りませんでした。出生率と言えばbirth rate/birth ratio/rate of birth があります。
他にもあるかなと？調べてみるとfertility rate の他にnatalityという単語もありました。

One is to think or imagine or to come up with some idea.
And the other is completely unrelated. It means to bear a child.
と紹介されてました。
