エクアドルでの農場移転
今農場がある tabacundoは標高2900ｍで夜温が5度まで下がる。温室内は8度あるが低すぎる。加温も検討したが、効率が悪い。そこで、標高2200ｍのguajyabambaに移そうと検討している。今より約4度暖かい。平均気温が4度暖かいというのはかなり大きい。夜温が9度になる。温室の中はさらに3度暖かいので、12度となる。日中は35度を超えないように温室の換気をおこなえば夏型植物の育種がストレス無くできる。ただ、移転のタイミングが難しい。今は世界的な不景気が始まったばかりで浸透していないので、土地も資材もまだ高い。6ヶ月後にはかなり浸透してくると思われるのでその頃がよい。

カレンジュラの播種
今日は日曜日です。早朝灌水をしてキンセンカの種を少し播種してから教会に行きました。午後から、もう一度農場に行きカレンジュラの播種の続きをします。1次選抜を畝でおこなっていますが雑草があまり多いので、バスアミド処理をすることにしました。２棟ある温室を1棟づつ空にして処理していく予定です。1回の処理に1ヶ月半かかるので年内に1棟の処理が終了できればよいと考えています。It is Sunday today.I went to the church since I did watering early in the morning, and dissemination did some kinds of the Calendula.From the afternoon, I go to the farm once again and do a continuance of the dissemination of Calendula.I performed the primary selection with a furrow, but decided to process busamide because there were too many weeds.I empty two greenhouse and processes a chemical.I think that one processing should be able to be finished within this year because it takes 1 and a half month for one processing.

育種につまずいている
育種がつまずいている。品種改良にはつまずきはつきものだが深刻だ。初心を忘れ、花色と花形の広がりを重要視して進めて来た。本来妥協することが許されない耐病性がおろそかになった。又、植物が大きく成長し、たくさんの花を着けた時にも十分耐えられる丈夫な茎と適度な高さのバランスがなければ優れた品種とは言えない事を忘れてきた。花色重視から、耐病性及び草型重視に変更し、もう一度初心に返り再スタートを切らなければならない。花色拡大を最も急ぐようにと要望が大切な顧客からあったとしても私は消して従うべきではない。来週から再出発をおこなう。自分にはブリーダーとしての才能があると信じて進めるしかない。周りの意見に振り回されるべきではない。私は世界一のカレンジュラとデロスペルマのブリーダーだと信じて再出発をおこなう。Developing new varieties of plants failed.Selective breeding always comes together with the mistake, but is serious.I forgot the original intention and I regarded a color of a flower and a flower-shaped expanse as important and was able to go ahead.The disease resistance that was not allowed to compromise became originally negligent.In addition, when a plant grows up greatly put on a lot of flowers, a strong stem and balance of moderate height that are important,I forget.From color of a flower serious consideration, I hace to change it in disease resistance and plant type serious consideration, and I return to the original intention once again ,and must make a start again.Even if there is a demand from a customer that I shoud hurry color of a flower expansion most, I delete it and should not follow it.I make a fresh start from next week.I believe that myself have talent as the breeder and cannot but be able to go ahead.It should not be swung around in the opinion of the circumference.I believe that I am a breeder of world's best Calendula and Delosperma and make a fresh start.
