通算40,41回目のEnglish Centralの会話練習です。
40回目の先生はLaineさん。２回目の指名です。彼女は土日しか入っていないようなので、土日練習に最適なようです。まず、土日の出来事を話した後でVideoレッスン開始です。（土日の出来事が長いと話に詰まる可能性もあるので、早めに切り上げです（笑））
Videoレッスンでは意味が良くわからないところも聞けるのが便利です。まずは
set back = problems
を確認しました。
発音で指摘されたのは、まずはinestigating。やはり”v"の発音です。
次に大きな私的なのは
”Production”は”Pro"ではなく、”Pra”だと発音しなさいということでした。
”Product”も同様に”Pra”です。
日本人はいつも”プロ”というけど、”プラ”なので気をつけて下さいと言われました。
発音記号は/prədˈʌkʃən だそうです。
あと言葉の意味で
Allegation（アレゲーション）という言葉が出てきたのですが、Allegationが良く使われるか？と聞かれるのか？と尋ねたところ、頻繁に使われることはないと言われていました。
意味としてはAccuseとして使われるそうです。要するに訴えるという感じです。
英語で伝えるとすると、a claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proofという感じだそうです。

41回目の先生はBestyさん。２回目です。この方も平日の昼間しかレッスンをしないので、休みを取るか、日本が休日の時のみのレッスンです。今日は私がPTA役員（Parent and teacher association)になって、休まなければならなくなって・・・という話をしました。そこで、フィリピンにもPTAはあるのか？と聞くと、あるそうです。Bestyさんの両親はなるチャンスはなかったと言われていたので、ラッキーでしたね。と言ったら笑っていました。
指摘された発音は３つです。

rとlが聞こえにくいとのことで、要するにrlで巻き舌のようにしなければなりません。
発音記号は”wˈɚːld” です。
[amidst]
この単語は全く発音できません。発音記号は a・midst です。意味的には中という意味です。(ア、ミストゥみたいな発音です）

ということになります。
[awe]
発音記号がˈɔː です。カタカナだと”ァオー”みたいに読むそうです。 巻き舌ですね。意味はすごくだと思っていればよさそうです。
語句はmeditativeが意味が分からなかったのですが、deeply or seriously thoughfulだそうです。瞑想ですね。

I want to. But it is difficult for me. I have tree reasons not to go to india.
one reason is that I need to take long holiday.
second reason is money.
I need a lot of money to go to there. And If I want to go, Our family must want to go.
So it needs a lot of money. last reason is that I hear India is dangerous city. there are so many crimes at his country. so I couldn't go now.
