「4番・右翼」で先発したT・ヘルナンデス。2021年のサイ・ヤング賞投手、コービン・バーンズに対して第1打席は二ゴロ、2死一塁の第2打席はカーブに空振り三振だった。6回2死一、二塁で第3打席が回ると、カウント1-2から外角のスライダーに完璧に合わせた。

打球初速108.2マイル（約174キロ）、飛距離413フィート（約125.8メートル）、角度34度の一発をセンター最深部へ運ぶ3ランとした。

The game was still 0-1 going into the sixth inning, but outfielder Teoscar Hernandez hit a three-run homer to turn the game around. In a post-game interview, the 32-year-old slugger said with a smile, "I had a good swing."

T. Hernandez started as the fourth batter and right fielder. In his first at-bat against 2021 Cy Young Award-winning pitcher Corbin Burnes, he grounded out to second base, and in his second at-bat with two outs and a runner on first base, he struck out swinging on a curveball. In his third at-bat in the sixth inning with two outs and runners on first and second base, he perfectly timed a slider on the outside corner with a count of 1-2.

The ball had an initial speed of 108.2 miles per hour (about 174 kilometers per hour), a distance of 413 feet (about 125.8 meters), and an angle of 34 degrees, and was hit into deep center field for a three-run homer.
