I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day. I baked cookies with soybean flour. Very, very healthy!
John and I had the best Valentine’s gift last weekend. Our four girls came back home. They brought their boy friends. They are all smart and good kids; it was delightful to talk to them.
We got snow; a lot of snow yesterday. I think we got about 12 inches. Lisa said that she got more than 2 feet of snow in Albany.
The news said the restaurants and flower shops got hit hard by this bad weather.
Valentine’s Day is one of their busiest days in the year. One restaurant in NYC had 200 reservations, but half of them were cancelled, The flower delivery service couldn’t deliver many of their orders.
The snow and ice storm caused the power outages in NJ and Long Island.
Jet blue passengers were left waiting on planes at a New York airport for as long as 11 hours during a snow and ice storm. I just heard the news that the parking garage’s roof collapsed by heavy snow in Poughkeepsie Galleria mall.
Of courseause the schools are closed yesterday and today. She won’t have school Friday to next Monday for the Presidents’ birthday. She got total of six days off!!!.
She is very happy about the unexpected long vacation at home.
Should we go out? I think she is just happy to watch TV and DVD with her Mom and Dad.
She didn’t have to take a walk. She, just like Kay, loves our home so much that she doesn’t like to leave home.

We enjoy watching the birds from our sun room. They came even during heavy snow days.

And then squirrels. They keep John’s blood pressure high. Before they jump up to John’s tower, they look at John. “Oh, thanks John. We love your lovely tower.” hehehe.
