Susan Boyle interview: 'I'm happy the way I am: short and plump'
『私は、短くて太った 今の自分で幸せ:』スーザンボイルインタビュー:
In a wide-ranging interview in London's Times Online, Susan Boyle says, "I'm happy the way I am: short and plump," and that while she might consider a "makeover later on," "I would not go in for Botox or anything like that."
The interview states that Boyle is a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Whitburn, Scotland, and visits elderly members of the congregation at their homes several times a week.
Boyle's next song selection for Britain's Got Talent this week will reportedly be the Andrew Lloyd Webber composition "Whistle Down The Wind."

Many of the churchgoers know Susan well ? but for different reasons. Currently unemployed, the singer devotes a lot of time doing community work on the church’s behalf.
She told us, “I like to help out where I can and I mostly do voluntary work. I help out the elderly, stuff like that. And I visit people in hospital. I’ve been doing that for a year and a half now”.
She told us, “A lot of things can happen that have been really sad and you’ve got to cover it up. You either laugh or you’d greet (cry). And we’d all be greeting, that would be a terrible mess”.
However, friends of Susan Boyle, the Scottish spinster from West Lothian who is tipped to win the ITV1 show Britain’s Got Talent, have told how she is a serial talent-show contestant who had bid again and again for stardom.
According to Fred O’Neil, Boyle’s singing teacher, she had decided this would be her last attempt to become a professional singer after years of rejection in favour of younger, more glamorous opponents.
“She used to go in for talent competitions all the time, local and national,” said O’Neil. “She always had a vision of herself as a singer but last year she told me she wasn’t going to sing any more.
Likely one of the best interviews to date with Susan Boyle. Suhana Meharchand of CBC talked with her like a human being with goals, ambitions, desire and grace. Her humility is profound and though her life has been very difficult she still can smile and have a laugh. Shy, but determined to win the competition as simply Susan Boyle.. An ordinary human that loves singing!
