Laura's situation is very delicate, isn't it? If I were in her place, I couldn't tell a new boyfriend about an ex-boyfriend.

But it seems for me some women like to tell their boyfriend about what their ex-boyfriend did for them and they like to get pleased to see the reaction of the boyfriend. I'm a woman, but sometimes I think women are cruel. How do you think?

Ｌ：週末どうだった、ボブ。
Ｂ：　悪くなかったね。家の事をいろいろやってたんだ。
Ｌ：　こっちはちょっと大変だったわ。元カレが電話してきたの。
Ｂ：　おっと。

Ｂ：　そしたら、まだ君のことが好きだって言ってきたんだろ？
Ｌ：　まあ、そんな感じ。
Ｂ：　男が元カノに電話するなんて、そのくらいしか理由がないからなあ。君の新しい彼氏はこのこと知ってるの？
Ｌ：　まさか。気まずくて言えなかったわ。

Ｌ：　How was your weekend, Bob?
Ｂ：　Pretty good. I just worked around the house.
Ｌ： Mine was kind of hectic . My ex-boyfriend called me.
Ｂ：　Uh-oh.
Ｌ：　He said he wanted to get together for a coffee. I said I was too busy.

Ｌ：　Yeah… kind of.
Ｂ：　That's the only reason a man calls his ex-girlfriend. Does your new boyfriend know about this?
Ｌ：　Of course not. I felt awkward and couldn't tell him.
