【英文での略歴】 Narita Ittetsu(1949~2012) Born in Kobe, Japan. He completed master's degree course at Osaka University of Economics graduate school. In 1982, privately published "Sakaba no Ehon"(the Bar Picturebook)introducing nostalgic old bars in Kobe when he was employed at Kobe city's auxiliary organization Kobe Port promotion association. He quitted being an office worker and moved to Tokyo in 1988. Over 30 years of creating career, he published 18 books on the paper-cutting art especially about Japanese bar scene. Evening of October 8, 2012, suffered a brain hemorrhage and collapsed in a station in Tokyo and taken to hospital. Passed away 6 days later in the morning of October 14 at age of 63.
