Resonance with Japanese Culture Hibiki 21 Years Old Special Bottle Collection 2003
Autumn is upon us and the signs of the new season are all around.
According to Japan’s traditional 24 seasons, the period of the year when the cold dew arrives is known as kanro.
One of the ways in which the subtle yet rich changes in nature across the four seasons are expressed in Japanese culture and art is through decorations on everyday objects, including pottery.
Suntory Whisky Hibiki resonates with this traditional spirit of Japanese culture, and has partnered with master artisans from the leading ceramics regions of Kutani and Arita.
This is a special collection of limited-edition bottles for Hibiki 21 Years Old, released in 2003. The designs for the porcelain bottles pay vivid tribute to the plants and animals that represent seasonal changes.
