The Q7 had powerful engines even in its standard trim. The base 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder alone is capable of 252 hp while the 3.0-liter V6 brings up the game with 333 hp.The zero to 60 mph acceleration of the Q7 is very quick for a midsize SUV.The SUV has a high safety rating from IIHS.Ride comfort is excellent even in bumpy roads.The interior is quietThe vehicle is packing a lot of tech features for entertainment, navigation, safety and comfort.Reasonable fuel economy thanks to its lower weight compared to its predecessors.A lot of optional packages for further customization.
The Q7 is still huge and a bit bulky-looking for a crossover.The Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige trims all look-alike in their exterior.The third-row seats feel a bit cramped, which really take a toll for the rear passengers during long trips.The cargo space is small for its class.The starting prices from the Premium trim up to the Prestige trim go up really quick from $49,900 to $65,400. We recommend the mid-trim Premium Plus starting at $53,900, and simply upgrade it with the features that you only want to somehow experience some of the luxuries offered by the top-trim level without blowing up much of your cash.
