Front-wheel or all-wheel drive can be configured for the majority of trims.The option of a diesel-powered engine is available for the majority of trims.The 2.0-liter engine delivered immediate acceleration and did not suffer from turbo lag.The handling was stable in corners when at a reasonable speed.Braking performance was stable and the bite was smooth in its application.Desirable features for passenger convenience comes standard with the base trim.Flexibility in adding features through packages allow for a vehicle better suited to varying needs and budgets.High marks for safety provide a sense of security for the buyer.Doors that open wide and a lower step-in height make it easy to enter the cabin.Legroom did not feel tight for the first and second row of seats.The seats were still comfortable even after long road trips.External noise is reduced with a new body that is more aerodynamic.Fuel economy is superb with the smaller gasoline and diesel engines.
The steering was disengaged and the effort was inconsistent in slower speeds.The brake pedal felt soft initially upon pressing down.The base trim only comes in front-wheel drive.Package options are not available for the base trim.A full suite of advanced safety and driver aids is only available for the top-of-the-line trim.Wheel size options and other exterior appointments are not available for the base trim.The shape of the seats could be wider for a better fit with the body.The leather upholstery did not have that pliability straight out of the box.The ride quality was disrupted by impacts that were not absorbed well by the suspension.The cargo space of the auto is smaller than most of its rivals.
