Ridiculous amount of cargo space whether the rear seats are up or down.Choice of two strong engines with great acceleration.Impressive towing capabilities.Possible seating for nine passengers, if you opt for a front bench seat.Subscription to OnStar included for several months.Reliable reputation.Fine-tuned suspension provides a comfortable, smooth and quiet ride to all passengers.Long list of standard safety features.Plenty of options available for customers.Drivetrain is backed by a long 5-year/100,000-mile warranty.
Both the 1500 and 2500 have horrible fuel-economy, forcing you to fill the large tank frequency.Third row seat does not fold flat and will need to be completely removed for maximum storage capacity.Exterior styling is uninspiring.Cabin is a bit outdated.Third row seat is not practical for adults.Blind spots are a definite problem, but unfortunately, the blind spot warning system is not standard, as it should be.Heavy weight makes it hard to maneuver.Large 43-foot turning circle makes the Yukon XL extremely challenging to park.Expected to score poorly in rollover protection like last year’s model.Long braking distance.
