All-wheel drive is standard for all trims.The more powerful engine has a wide power band and turbo lag is nonexistent.The transmission shifts smoothly and there is no delay when accelerating faster.The handling is well-composed within reasonable cornering speeds.Advanced safety and driver aids are already available for the base trim.Features that are standard in the higher trim levels are available as options in lower trim levels.Entering the cabin is effortless because of the low ground clearance.Both the front and rear seats are spacious enough for the average passenger.The seats are comfortable during long drives and the leather upholstery is of high quality.The range of adjustability for the front seats allows most passengers to fit comfortably.The ride is stable and compliant against bumps and cracks on the road.
There is no option for a front-wheel drive.Body roll becomes more evident the higher the speed when attacking the corner.The brake pedal is overly sensitive at the initial press and gives the perception of strong brakes.There is no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto available at all.The First Edition is practically discontinued after the first year of production of the E-Pace.There are no official safety ratings from the NHTSA or the IIHS yet.The base trim does not have the option for bigger wheels, a sunroof, and roof rails.The space at the second row may be limited to the passenger who stands at six feet or taller.Bigger wheels may transmit more harshness to the ride.Fuel efficiency is reduced when choosing the trim with the more powerful engine.
