Kia SUV Reviews

There is a lot to love about the unique vehicles that find themselves in the lineup of Kia SUVs for 2013. Although this manufacturer has not been competing in this market for all that long, they are definitely making a name for themselves with stunning styling, comfortable cabins and affordable pricing.

It may not be all that farfetched to say that the 2013 Kia Sportage is one of the most attractive crossovers on the market. There is something about it that just makes it look like it is a ton of fun to drive, and it really is! Although Sportage does compete against Mazda CX-5, Ford Escape , Honda CR-V and Chevrolet Equinox, most consumers are just naturally drawn to the futuristic styling of Kia. Not to mention, it does not hurt that you can pick one up as a base model starting at only $19,000! This is a sport utility vehicle that can fit in even a lower budget.

Seating for five is offered in a surprisingly roomy cabin. Even rear seat passengers enjoy plenty of leg room, supportive seats and soft touch material throughout. Sportage is available in four trims, including Base, LX , EX and SX. Base has all of the essentials that you need, but for just a little more money, you can enjoy an LX with 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and rear privacy glass. A Convenience package is also available, adding on rear parking sensors, roof rack side rails, rearview camera and heated outside mirrors.

Sportage EX gives you the Convenience package, plus 18-inch alloy wheels, upgraded upholstery, digital music storage and an upgraded sound system. For a top-of-the-line model, the SX throws in a sport-tuned suspension, turbocharged engine, updated gauges and a whole lot more.

Kia Sorento has become a popular pick in the midsize crossover SUV segment for a long list of reasons. Like its Sportage sibling, Sorento boasts an exterior that is sporty yet elegant, and definitely is attractive to diverse buyers. A decent size third row seat and an abundance of cargo space are hard to come by at a starting MSRP of only $23,150, but this is what you get in a Sorento. It competes against Toyota RAV4 , Honda CR-V , Chevrolet Equinox and Dodge Journey .

Sorento is available in LX, EX and SX trims, with two different engines and optional all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is definitely a strong selling point, regardless which engine you choose. The base LX is loaded thoughtfully, which also offers the option of the LX Convenience package, with heated front seats, parking sensors and UVO voice-activated electronics interface. The upgraded four-cylinder engine comes with the EX, along with handsome 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and very soft leather upholstery. If you opt to add on the V6 engine, then the third row seat also becomes an option, as does a touchscreen navigation and rearview camera.

Lastly, Sorento SX gives you everything that you could possibly need or want, with 18-inch wheels, rear air conditioning, rearview camera, an Infinity audio system and a whole lot more!
