Used 2013 Lexus RX Hybrid SUV Crossover Pros and Cons
Phenomenal fuel-economy at 32 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
Exterior styling is stunning with not one detail overlooked.
High-quality materials throughout the cabin.
Rear seat reclines and slides for optimal comfort.
An unbelievable overall cargo capacity of 80 cubic feet.
Premium sound system.
Long list of technology and entertainment features either standard or available to add on.
Scored “Good” on front, roof and side protection crash tests.
Steering is responsive.
Cabin is whisper quiet.
Ride is smooth for all passengers.
Impressive towing capacity at 3,500 pounds.
Small turning circle makes parking a breeze.
Front seats are lacking lateral and thigh support.
Dash is cluttered with an abundance of controls, which can be confusing to operate while trying to drive.
Adding options and packages for personalization gets very expensive.
Braking capabilities do not measure up to the competition, taking 130 feet to stop from 60 mph.
No third row seat available; seating for five is the only arrangement.
Some may find the suspension to be a little too stiff.

It isn't the most athletic SUV in the class but offers great fuel economy and an up-scale, roomy interior.

Comfortable, smooth and well equipped; the hybrid-engined Lexus RX 450h is a top luxury 4x4 and reliable to boot.
