Engine and drivetrain options are available for all trims.The acceleration was immediate and the transmission shifted smoothly.The steering was accurate and responsive.The brake pedal was firm enough to control the brakes easily.The base trim comes standard with modern features for passenger convenience.Excellent safety ratings provide a sense of security for the potential customer.The low door sills and large openings made stepping inside the cabin easy.The seats were very comfortable even for long trips.The ride quality was compliant and road imperfections were dampened reasonably.External noise was minimized to maintain a relaxed interior atmosphere.
The transmission could benefit from more gears for better fuel efficiency and more accurate rev-matching with the engine.There was a lack of feedback from the pavement to the steering wheel.The body lurched forward slightly in hard and sudden braking.The full suite of advanced safety and driver aids is only available for the most expensive trim.Bigger wheels and a sunroof are not available options for the base trim.The headroom was compromised when opting for the panoramic sunroof.There is no third row of seats, ideally for children.There are more fuel-efficient vehicles in the crossover SUV segment.The starting price is considerably more expensive compared to a similar vehicle from a more utilitarian brand.
