Used 2012 Nissan Armada SUV Trims & Features

The Nissan Armada SUV is either a seven or eight passenger luxury family SUV that comes in three different trims. All of the trims come with a 5.6 liter 317 horsepower V8 motor and a five speed automatic transmission. Buyers will have the choice of rear or four wheel drive. The trims available are the entry level SV, the midrange SL and the top level Platinum.

Along with the powerful engine, the SV trim of the Nissan Armada SUV features a set of alloy wheels of 18 inches, side step rails to make entry and exit simpler and sensors for rear parking. Buyers will also receive a dual zone climate control system with a rear control, a power driver's seat, power adjustable pedals and tilt steering. The audio system features eight speakers and a six disc CD changer. Those who opt to add the Driver package will get foglight and a power liftgate in addition to an automatic dimming rearview mirror, Bluetooth and a rearview camera. The stereo will be upgraded to an eleven speaker Bose system that features satellite radio and controls in the rear. The four wheel drive option will include this package as standard.

On the Nissan Armada SUV the SL trim will upgrade those wheels to 20 inch alloy. It will also include an auto leveling rear air suspension and a roof rack. Buyers will receive a keyless ignition and entry system, leather upholstery and heated front seats. Finally, the third row seat will be power folding.

The Platinum trim upgrades the wheels again to a 20 inch chrome. This trim adds on a sunroof, front parking sensors, and dual power folding mirrors. The second row seats and the steering wheel will be heated and there will be a driver's seat memory. The platinum also comes with a navigation system, rear DVD entertainment system and a Bose audio system with digital music storage. Buyers can also opt to replace the second row bench with two captain's chairs though this lowers the passenger total to seven. The entertainment system is optional on lower trims.

Safety features on the Nissan Armada SUV include antilock disc brakes and traction control. Also standard are active head restraints in the front and front seat side impact airbags. The Armada also includes full length side curtain airbags.
