Good brakes that will ensure a safe stopping distance. ProPILOT Assist is an advanced driver assistance system that aids in safer driving. High safety ratings from notable testing organizations. Comfortable seats and smooth ride quality even if the trip becomes lengthy. Spacious interior and ample seat adjustment to provide enough room. Leather and trim quality is pleasant to the touch at this price point. The Bose sound system and with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto offer a premium infotainment experience. Divide-and-Hide system allows for better allocation of cargo space. The engine's performance is underwhelming and sufficient at best for everyday use. The continuous variable transmission is not responsive enough for a sportier experience. The handling is hampered by heavier steering that is not suited for spirited driving. Advanced safety technologies are only available in SL trim. Surprisingly the SL trim that was tested has less seating capacity than the S and SV trim. Upscale materials for the interior are only available in pricier SL trim package options. Top-of-the-line trim and package options become a significant increase in price.
