All versions come with seven airbags, electronic stability control, and active anti-whiplash head restraints. The 2011 MiTo has achieved the maximum five-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests.
There aren't a lot of aesthetic upgrades from the previous Alfa Romeo MiTos.The engine could be a lot more powerful, but that's understandable for such a small model.The MiTo does suffer a slight steering wander at high speeds due to its small engine, but it's still an improvement over earlier models.While the cabin in the MiTo is beautiful, it's also slightly uninspiring in that it contains very traditional choices in materials.In normal mode the engine is a little sluggish, but the driver can select the dynamic mode to noticeably improve the toggle and the steering, throttle, suspension, and traction settings.There's little rear legroom for passengers in the 2011 Alfa Romeo MiTo Coupe Hatchback.The driver's rear visibility is poor in this vehicle.
