Aston Martin, in collaboration with Zagato (a legendary Italian design house), worked together to bring the world the amazing combination of speed, agility, handling and unique style with the Aston Martin V12 Zagato. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato was released on the 50th anniversary of the DB4GT Zagato on 21 May 2011. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato is the latest and greatest in the design of such elitists from the Aston Martin and Zagato collaboration as the DB7 Zagato, the V8 Vantage Zagato, and the DB4GT Zagato.

There seem to be some mixed emotions from car enthusiasts about the new Aston Martin. It does cost about $100,000 less than the DBS, but many say that if you're spending that kind of money, why not opt for the best? Still, the V12 Zagato is truly a gentleman's car. When you slip inside the cabin, you immediately are greeted by a metal fist for a gear shifter and a metal-finish instrument cluster. Don't expect a ton of room, but there is an impressive 10.6 cubic-feet of space you can actually use underneath the hatchback

On the exterior, you can't help but be drawn to the chiseled body, beefy grille, aerodynamic styling and wheels that will demand a second glance. This is not just a pretty face though. Despite the significantly smaller price tag, this Aston Martin packs a punch under the hood. A 6.0-liter V-12 engine delivers an impressive 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. There are certainly races off the line to be won by this one. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, which is attractive to many driver and certainly a feature many are missing in other Aston Martin models. You can expect to fill up a little more often on those long leisurely drives as the V12 Zagato returns 11 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway.

Like its relatives, the V12 Zagato has the safety features that you need, including stability and traction control, four-wheel antilock brakes, tire pressure monitoring and braking assist.
