ProsV8 engine sprints to 60 mph in only 4.2 seconds and delivers smooth acceleration

ProsAutomatic air suspension keeps ride smooth whether stuck in slow-moving rush hour traffic or cruising on the open road.

ProsElectronically adjustable settings offer a tailored driving experience.

ProsAbundance of standard technology, convenience, and safety features, plus a ton of packages to add on

ProsV8 engine returns almost the same fuel economy as the supercharged V6, which could be partially due to the automatic start/stop feature that helps to conserve fuel use.

ProsAudi quattro® all-wheel drive enhances performance and responds to changing weather conditions.

ProsSpacious cabin gives rear seat passengers 43 inches of legroom.

ProsInterior is luxurious, with fine leather seating, gorgeous wood inlays, and a thoughtful layout.

ProsComposed and compliant ride.

ProsHandles like a sedan that is significantly smaller. It is not easy to find fault with Audi's flagship sedan. It offers stunning styling, an incomparable cabin, and phenomenal performance. It essentially sets the bar extremely high for other full size luxury sedans to try to compete with. Still, you cannot please everyone, so there are a few complaints worth mentioning.

ConsTrunk space is the biggest disappointment. It gives you enough room to take two couples on a road trip, but only gives you a 13.2-cubic-foot trunk, which is hardly large enough for luggage.

ConsAdding on packages quickly skyrockets the price of A8 L.

ConsAlthough most will appreciate the finest quality leather that Audi blankets its seats in, there are some buyers who simply prefer cloth. Unfortunately, this sedan doesn't offer a cloth option.
