BMW has outdone itself once again with the newest model of the 6 Series Coupe. Just when consumers were beginning to think that BMW had forgotten exactly what it was that made its 6 Series Coupe so great, the automaker took the vast amount of criticism into consideration to create an automobile that adequately occupies both the distinction of being a sports and luxury car. You will certainly be the envy of any on-looker who sees you driving by with this car, and rightly so; the 6 Series Coupe has a certain 'James Bond' appeal to it.

When it comes to performance, this car outclasses many of its competitors, and can certainly hold its own with the best of luxury cars, such as the Mercedes-Benz CL models. This car is available in three trim options, including the 640i, 650i and the 650i xDrive. BMW upholds its own impressive standards in safety, with specialized features such as anti-lock brakes. When tested, this coupe was able to a complete stop from 60 mph in only 109 feet, which is pretty impressive for a vehicle in this weight class. Anyone who has driven this car will testify that it is certainly another good example of the exceptionally high standards that seem to be always set by German engineers.

The BMW 6 Series Coupe is certainly no slouch when it comes to performance. The base model of this car features a 3.-lliter, 6-cylinder engine, with 315 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. This trim can effortlessly achieve zero to 60 mph in only 5.5 seconds. For those that prefer more power, BMW offers the 6 Series 650i, and 650i xDrive that are both powered by a 4.4-liter V-8 engine, delivering 400 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Of course, the 640i, being lighter, offers better handling than the 650i, but the additional performance of the 650i easily trumps any benefits that one might have from buying a 640i.

The cockpit of this vehicle is what you would expect from this line. It's handsome, features out placed thoughtfully and it screams of richness. The backseat is very cramped, but this coupe does have a surprisingly large trunk area. BMW has managed to reduce the weight of the seats while still increasing comfort and functionality. The new seats from BMW are tailored for a sports car, but still feature an integrated seatbelt system, and it also has a feature called active fatigue reduction, which is part of the front seat ventilation system, and offering its own list of unique benefits.
