The 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe's styling is an absolute head turner with top of the line handling, accurate steering, and marked by excellence due to the cabin design and comfort. This is a serious luxury coupe, with a great deal of power under the hood. The power, control and elegance make this an enticing option for buyers looking for a perfect blend of three elements. A 3.6 Liter V8 engine producesa whopping 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque. This is the most powerful engine manufactured by Cadillac for a production car to date. To create a smooth and more efficient airflow into the engine, an intercooled TVS supercharger uses two four lobe rotors inclined at 360 degrees, unlike the usual incline of 60 degrees. Under the hood the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, the impressive power plant is married to a six speed automatic transmission that effectively transfers the power to the rear wheels through a locking differential at the rear of the vehicle. This model comes with among other things likes paddle shifters and an option of six speed manual transmission, linked by a dual disc clutch.

This car will certainly pass all hurdles of performance, power and comfort. While luxury wasn't the foremost goal in this model, the engineers have still done a great job of combing both performance and style in this year's model. With Munich's production lines giving it a run for its money, the engineers at Cadillacmust have envisioned a growing need for speed in today's younger demographics. This idea is exemplified in a machine customized for performance with a whopping 556 horsepower. On an ordinary highway, the perfect place to stretch your legs so to speak, the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe cruises from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds, the manual transmission trim however does much better at higher speeds i.e.from 70- 100 mph it accelerates faster than its automatic transmission comrade. Manual transmission lovers must be happy to use the aluminum plated floor pedals which are not only classy, but also spaced appropriately to enhance the driving experience.

Racecar drivers and enthusiasts alike have praised its highly effective racing bred Brembo brakes and the new Magnetic Ride Control. The magnetic ride control developed in partnership with Ferarri not only performance excellently on the race track, but also adjusts to provide a luxury ride around town.Fitted with sensors that are electronically connected to the four tires, the suspension is able to virtually instantaneously change dampening rates based on current driving conditions.
