ProsThe Chrysler 200 Convertible has a low starting price, yet delivers standard options that offer the sense of driving a much more expensive vehicle.

ProsThe 3.6 liter V-6 has 283 horsepower at 283, which solidly qualifies it as best in class. Fuel efficiency doesn't suffer as a result as the convertible gets 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.

ProsWith all that power under the hood, the fear is that steering will require a heavy hand for maximum control. Fortunately, this is unfounded as the Chrysler 200 Convertible is easily maneuvered and responds quickly and accurately to steering commands.

ConsThe automatic transmission shifts smoothly, however it doesn't always pick up as quickly as drivers would like. Delay between pressing the gas and acceleration requires practice before attempting any tight merges or passes.

ConsThe hand-brake and shifter were skipped when the interior of the Chrysler 200 Convertible was redesigned so this is the most noticeable remnant of the former hard plastic that surrounded passengers in the predecessor Sebring.
