Citroen have been building the Berlingo model of van for a number of years now and they just keep getting better and better. This versatile panel van is great for those of you that need to zip about on a daily basis in order to carry out your job. However, even though it is primarily thought of as being used for business, it can prove practical for someone always on the go, such as an artist transporting canvases and paints to class. When looking at the Citroen Berlingo Van as a business, you will find that having a fleet of these in order to keep your engineers on the road constantly will suit you quite well. They certainly offer plenty of room with good fuel-economy and at a respectable price. Citroen is also known for reliability in all of their vehicles, and the Citroen Berlingo Van is certainly no exception. You will not have the headache of yet another call to the office to say that one of your employees cannot carry out a time sensitive job because there is steam coming out of the engine of their van. Citroen prides them on quality reliability, and they certainly deliver in this respect.

The New Citroen Berlingo is clean in design and when it comes to the heritage of commercial vehicles; this little van is no exception. The latest model has a style that is squared off, with a high roof and sliding doors, which all add to the practicalities for people who are on the road all day and need to make regular stops in order to service their customers. The shape itself is not flashy or even overly attractive by any means, however Citroen has managed to design the Berlingo Van so that when you look at it, it appears to have a bit of character to the point where you will probably want to name yours! Available as standard with this van are 3 levels of trim, XTR, VTR and VT. The XTR has been built with suspension that has been raised and an SUV type body cladding.

Don't expect a lot of power coming from this van. It is equipped with a 1.6i 16-V engine that is paired up with a five-speed manual transmission. This delivers 89 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 97 pound-feet of torque. While that is not a lot of power, it will get you around town just fine.
