Bugatti Coupe Review

Although the Bugatti name is owned by German auto company Volkswagen Group, it once was a French auto manufacturer that was established by an Italian man named Ettore Bugatti. The first Bugatti coupe was the Bugatti Type 64, which was first produced in 1939. It was not, however, produced in volume. Another coupe... (full review continues below)

Bugatti Coupe Reviews

Although the Bugatti name is owned by German auto company Volkswagen Group, it once was a French auto manufacturer that was established by an Italian man named Ettore Bugatti. In short, the Bugatti can claim its roots in many different countries, but no one really cares about its history when he/she is able to actually see a sporty, sleek Bugatti in person. The first Bugatti coupe was the Bugatti Type 64, which was first produced in 1939. It was not, however, produced in volume. Another coupe that rose to fame was the Bugatti Type 101, which produced from 1951-1956 as a sort-of evolved Bugatti Type 57. It is considered by some to be the last "true" Bugatti vehicle and was produced in only seven units.

The most recent Bugatti coupe is the Bugatti Veyron, which was produced in 2006 and 2007 at around $1,400,000, in 2008 at a slightly higher MSRP of $1,500,000, in 2009 with a base MSRP of $1,700,000-$1,990,000 and in 2011 with an MSRP range of $2,250,880-$2,250,880. The Buggati Veyron was also sold in 2005. The production of the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 spanned from 2005-2011 (which has been announced as its last model year). The production of the Grand Sport spans from 2008-present, and production of the Super Sport spans from 2010-present. The Veyron is a 2-door coupe/touring car, but there is also a targa top variant. All models include standard AWD and a longitudinal mid-engine.

The 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport coupe/touring car is one of the most powerful and exotic supercars in the world. It was updated to have sportier features than the previous Veyron models. This Veyron contains an 8.0-liter W-16 engine that produces 1,2000@6,4000 rpm and works in tandem with a seven-speed auto-shift manual transmission with OverDrive function. Zero-to-sixty time is a tiny 2.4 seconds! You're looking at one of the fastest vehicles to grace the planet. An AWD drivetrain comes standard (as is usual in the Veyron models), and the coupe offers seating for two passengers. Cargo measures at 1.3 cubic feet, and the vehicle gets 7 mpg in the city and 15 on the highway. It comes with a 36 mile Bugatti warranty, and monthly payment amount comes in at about $42,500.

Standard features for the 2011 Bugatti Veyron include a navigation system, a Puccini audio system, and heated, carbon fiber sport seats. Paint colors are available in several variations, included two-toned choices. Can you imagine some enthusiasts found the previous 1,0001 horsepower to be insufficient? Either way, it now comes in at an amazing 1,2000. Also new for this model year are NACA ducts and an extended rearward roof (to better cover the new engine). There is also a new front fascia with bigger openings and a new lower opening that extends around the sides of the vehicle to the wheel arch, a new suspension with revised springs, shock absorbers, and anti-roll bars, and a new double diffuser. Safety features include anti-lock brakes, front-impact airbags, stability control, and an advanced anti-theft system.
