The 2012 Canyon Truck is perfect for buyers who are searching for either a midsize or compact pickup with multiple body styles and engine, rugged styling, and optional off-road and 4WD packs. However, this truck seems to lack the overall creature comforts and refinement of its contemporary rivals.

The 2012 Canyon Truck represents a compact or midsize pickup and is available in 3 body styles: normal cab, prolonged cab (which has small back entr?e doors) and team/crew cab (which has 4 regular doors). It is also available in 3 dissimilar trim stages: SLT, SLE and Work Truck. The compact and midsized ones accomplish a significant role. GMC's Canyon Truck is fuel-efficient and more dexterous.

On one side, thanks to its broad-shouldered stance and square jaw, the GMC Canyon is handsome-looking. Its remarkable crash test scores reassure the owners that it's safe. It also provides available V8 power, which represents a rare treat in this kind of segment. On the other side, the Canyon is beleaguered with more than its reasonable portion. The standard 4 and 5-cylinder engines lack in the power department, which limits the trucks aptitude to comfortably pull heavy masses or drag load, which is a shame compared to its life. Numerous items from the trucks cabin feel cheap and flimsy, so the build quality is average.

Its interior is seen as being below average in material and build quality. Its engines have been criticized as uninspiring, even if the optional V8 is one of the most enjoyable engines in the compact truck segment. Its exterior, however, has been praised for its stylishness and many owners commemorate the quiet ride. The 2012 GMC Canyon Truck is appointed with the stability control, OnStar emergency communications system, traction control, antilock brakes and head drape air-bags. Its biggest obstacles represent its subpar materials and aging cabin. Its interior is uninspiring and dated and its 5-cylinder pales against competitive V6s. However, its base 4-cylinder is capable enough for around-town responsibility. It offers sharp looks and a solid build, coming close to a Dodge Dakota.

But even if it looks very well from the exterior, its interior comprises average cab constituents, solid plastic trim and seats that is short on long-haul comfort or support. Instruments and controls are organized in rational manner, but with chunky and thick knobs intended to provide accommodation to fingers that wear work-gloves. There also is plenty of space for legs up front, which is a plus with regards to comfort.
