The Honda Civic HF Sedan does not come with multiple trims. There is only one and it is quite similar to the standard Civic LX. It begins with a set of 15 inch wheels, headlights that turn off automatically and intermittent windshield wipers. The addition of a defroster on the rear window and overall power windows is included as well. Inside the cabin one will find a steering wheel that tilts and telescopes and a rear seat that folds down into one piece.

Additional standard fare on the Honda Civic HF Sedan are handles the color of the body on every door, locks and mirrors that are powered, a keyless entry system and such standbys as cruise and air conditioning. There are also special floor mats, audio controls on the steering wheel and a sound system with four speakers, CD and USB inputs. These are the same basic features that one would acquire from the LX.

There are a few differences in the Honda Civic HF Sedan from other models. Most of them were added to help increase the fuel economy that one will achieve with the vehicle. They include such things as low resistance tires, aerodynamic aluminum wheels, special underbody panels and a spoiler on the rear. The purpose of these features was not lost as the HF does have slightly better gas mileage than its LX counterpart.

Safety features are much like any other Honda on the market. They include stability control, antilock brakes as well as front seat side impact and side curtain airbags. There are no additional safety features that can be added with this vehicle.

Deciding whether to purchase a Honda Civic HF Sedan is going to boil down to preference. The vehicle gets a small margin of difference in fuel economy and it costs significantly more than the LX it resembles. While the savings is great, it would actually take a long period of time saving that money to make up for what was spent extra on the vehicle. There are plenty of other options available, one of which being the standard Civic LX. It still gets excellent gas mileage and can be had for a lower price tag.
