The 2.0-liter engine is replaced by a bigger one giving the Honda Civic Si Sedan 2012 more power and torque.The maximum performance can be achieved at 7000 RPM. That is 1000 RPM less than the previous releases.With its power and fuel efficiency, it can be considered as the perfect daily vehicle.The i-VTEC light and rev indicator is useful as it indicates when to shift gearsThe interior of the Civic Si Sedan is bigger than the previous generations despite the decrease in wheel base size. For a compact car, it is very spacious.The new Civic is quieter and more refined to drive.Fuel efficiency is good despite the increase in engine size.The electronic brake distribution of the new Civic is notable.The steering is not as easy as it should be in a Civic Si but it is still responsive and accurate.Seats may not be that adjustable ,but they are comfortable enough for long drives.
The new exterior styling is a bit subtle and less aggressive for a sports oriented car with that much power.Using the ECON button will affect the performance of the Honda Civic Si Sedan 2012.Exterior styling, just like the other models in the Honda Civic lineup, is a bit bland.The five-speed automatic transmission can be improved and should have been six-speed.The interior of the Civic is boring and the plastic material used does not add to the aesthetic value of the vehicle. There are too many textures in the interiors of the Civic.The shifter is average but the previous generations have smoother shifts.The optional Honda navigation system costs $1,500 yet the maps are unclear and hard to read.
