The 2012 Honda Fit Hatchback is a four-door subcompact car that is rated as one of the most affordable compact cars of today. Honda Fit proves to be a car of choice for safety and reliability without spending too much. Usually, when people think of buying a subcompact car, the first worries that come to mind are space for the interior, driving performance and design of the body. This is where Honda Fit Hatchback stands out because it is surprising that this hatchback offers spacious interior, a fun driving experience and a stylish design that you would not think possible for a hatchback. For 2012, buyers can expect an extra layer of soundproofing to minimize engine, wind and tire noise.

The 2012 Honda Fit hatchback is powered with a 15 Li four cylinder engine with an output power of 117 Hp. The aluminum alloy engine uses the technique called multi-point fuel injection for increased efficiency and power. The fuel tank has a capacity of 10.6 gallons of unleaded fuel which has a fuel economy rating of 28 mpg for city driving and 35 mpg for highway driving. Honda Fit is offered in two trims, the base model and the sport model. Both trims are offered with options of a 5-speed manual transmission or 5-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of the exterior body design, Honda Fit Hatchback offers a stylish look for the base model which has 15 "steel wheels. Meanwhile, if you want the sporty look, the Honda Fit sports trim offers a 16" alloy wheels, sport body kit and a rear spoiler to complete the sports car design. What's really impressive with 2012 Honda Fit Hatchback is the cabin space. The Honda Fit can seat passengers comfortably while still offering space for cargo. Honda Fit boasts the Magic seat at the rear portions which was designed smartly for the 60/40 folding split, which offers additional compartment space. The security features are impressive as well with the remote entry for easy entry and all power door locks and windows.

However, Honda Fit hatchback has its flaws like the front seat which are disappointingly not designed for tall passengers. The height adjustment limits the leg space for taller passengers. While others think that Honda Fit has a basic engine power, some claim that the engine is not impressive in high terrains and requires boosting the engine for highway driving. Overall, the 2012 Honda Fit hatchback is subcompact car fun to drive for the whole family and still continues to be a favorite among many.
