Used 2012 Jaguar XKR-S Coupe Review & Ratings

When designing and building the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S Coupe, Jaguar thought of everything from the sporty yet elegant styling to the luxurious to cabin to unparalleled performance. Jaguar created the XKR-S to be a sports coupe with high performance output. It was given an updated suspension that automatically prioritizes the ride handling and comfort based on the precise situation. It was also given 20-inch wheels, more aggressive styling than the other trims, revised suspension tuning and a unique interior trim. The body kit also includes several pieces that are actually made from carbon fiber. As the XKR is a monster, the XKR-S is said to be a different sort of monster. It is one that can hang not only with those on the track, but also with those on the boulevard as well. This is a car that handles sharp corners like they are the straight road.

The XKR-S also adds a more powerful supercharged engine than its counterparts, the XKR and the XK models. This engine delivers a whopping 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, so it can certainly hustle off the line and when merging. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard. There is one package that is available to be put on the XKR-S Coupe. This package is called the Bright package. The package adds brightly polished wheels and a chrome exterior to the XKR-S. Other options that are available to the XKR-S include a heated windshield and a sports style steering wheel that is wrapped in faux suede.

As with the XK and XKR, the XKR-S has impressive safety features that you won't find standard on other vehicles, as well as some common and thoughtful ones.
