The MX-5 Miata PRHT Sports Coupe Convertible is a classic sports car with a roadster style. It is essentially everything you could want in a weekend cruising vehicle. Mazda's motto is "If it's not worth driving, it's not worth building" and the MX-5 is definitely worth driving. When it comes to the sheer pleasure of hugging a curve as the wheel responds to your every touch, the MX-5 can't be matched. It is as if this vehicle was designed for the winding road, and it probably was! With rear-wheel drive, an attractive price, precise engineering and unsurpassed cornering, the fun little Mazda Miata is the closest to perfect a sports car can come.

The Mazda Miata has been on the market for 23 years, but has retained its basic character all of those years. The design has evolved and improved, but the concept of the vehicle has always remained the same. From a mechanical standpoint, the Miata has evolved into a sturdier, more dependable sports car. Mazda took a good thing, and made it great.

The small two-seater shape of the MX-5 Miata PRHT Sports Coupe Convertible is instantly recognizable. When Mazda designed the Miata to be the ultimate affordable roadster, they set the bar high and few cars have even come close to providing driver satisfaction balanced with incredible value. What is really special about this convertible is its power operated retractable hardtop. While you would expect this would add a tremendous amount of weight to the vehicle, it doesn't. in fact, it only adds an additional 70 pounds. Compared to other convertibles, this top gives drivers a more quiet ride that is unaffected by weather and road noise.

The2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata PRHT Sports Coupe Convertible certainly does not offer a tremendous amount of excitement under the hood, but then speed and passing power is not what this car has ever been known for. It is motivated by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 167 horsepower. A six speed manual transmission is standard, but a six-speed automatic is standard. Also, since it is available in Sport, Touring and Grand Touring trims, there is something for everyone. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to own one since production is very limited. Despite the issue with supply and demand, this vehicle is still priced affordability. If you can get your hands on one, you will have the option between Velocity Red and Crystal White Pearl, which are the only two available colors this year.
