Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class AMG Sports Coupe is an amazing luxury car that was produced as a replacement for the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. The car is the first product to be designed by AMG, and it was meant to take over from the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. It was presented to the public at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, and its sales commenced in 2010 in Europe first. Sales of this car did not begin in the United States of America until 2011 where it was sold at a suggested retail price of less than $200 thousand. Mercedes-Benz did a wonderful job of creating a sleek design that allows the vehicle to stand out, even next to the most desirable imports. The car looks like an improved version of the 300SL Gullwing. It has a long bonnet, with a short rear, mean headlamps and wicked wheels This is a car you notice flying down the road, and you don't forget it.

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class AMG Sports Coupe is exquisitely designed.. Features such as, Bluetooth, security systems, sound systems and power options can easily be customized to suit individual preferences. The cabin is as luxurious as it is comfortable; however some drivers may feel that the seat sits a little too low. There is only about 6.2 cubic feet of cargo space, but don't worry, your golf clubs will fit back there, along with a small weekend bag!

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is powered by one fierce engine. A 6.2-liter V8 is paired up with a standard seven-speed dual clutch automated manual gearbox with aluminum shift paddles. It is motivated by an outstanding 563 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Zero to 60 mph is accomplished in only 3.8 seconds there are few cars on the road that can come close to competing with this. Of course, as you would expect, fuel-economy is compromised, as it returns a shabby 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. One thing that people are split down the line on is the suspension. Handling is what you would expect; pretty much perfect. It takes corners aggressively as if it was made for them. It should also be noted that as fast as the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is, it can brake faster than any other vehicles in its segment, stopping from 60 mph in only 98 feet. This is pretty much unheard of in the automobile industry.
