Used 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman Sedan Review & Ratings

The moment Cooper Countryman Sedan that I was supposed to review came in, I took a walk around it and thought - Now here is a Mini that looks completely original! Cooper Countryman Sedan is very much like the first Mini500 of the 1940s, except that the 2012 version is pretty large compared to its great great grandfather.

The model's front grill with chrome lining is seductively vintage, elegant and pretty well put! Apart from the difference on its front grill, Cooper Countryman Sedan doesn't look much different from other Mini models.

However, this is another classic example where looks can be deceiving; this Cooper Countryman Sedan is not something like I had in mind when I was heading for the review. What's the big deal about this 1.6 L naturally aspirated engine that produces 121 HP power; you may ask.

Yes, I agree that the engine is quite the same and with a 0-60 mph at 9.8 seconds coupled with a top speed of 116 mph, this engine is definitely not the greatest performer I reviewed. However, Cooper Countryman Sedan is quite classy and its looks are one step ahead than its competition.

Of course you are paying a high premium for the looks. I know I know! It's too tough to convince you, isn't it? Just have a look the exterior, appreciate its originality, and then get in the car for the surprises. Cooper Countryman Sedan can give you a breathtaking visual experience. The four door sedan has wide opening doors, making entry and exit quite easy. Even better, it is equipped with four bucket seats, providing a luxury ride to all the four passengers.

Cooper Countryman Sedan can easily double as a family car or fun car. Enjoying a ride with your friends or family can't be any better than this, thanks to Mini's engineering excellence. It's a range of simple features that made Cooper Countryman Sedan quite beautiful, brilliant for its size. Once again, Mini is proving to the world that design wonders are not a result of massive spending on trims but it's all about thinking excellence. The Center Rail is one such feature I can't talk enough about in this review! The rail comes for free either as a single or double unit and passengers on both front and rear seats can communicate effortlessly with it. Cooper Countryman Sedan has an array of universal clip-in accessories from cup holders to storage boxes. 1 iPod cradle, 2 cup holders and 1 eyeglass holder are standard accessories on the center rail.
