More Used Mini Coupe Reviews / All Mini Cars

The 1.6 L engine on the Mini Cooper Coupe produces 121HP and is a good performer. However, what makes this car very special is its handling. The electronic power steering is a major attraction for the Mini Cooper Coupe as the steering comes with outstanding precision and with added security features like traction control, it works really well. Though the steering is absolutely precise, you will never be in fear of overturning thanks to the dynamic stability control and other features on the Mini. You can expect amazing turning stability even on the tightest corners. There is no doubt that the Mini Cooper Coupe is a driver's car and with GPS navigation, a powerful stereo system, winter driving accessories and run flat tire system, the car is a real pleasure to drive.

The interior design is another amazing feature that you will be attracted to, with many toggles and control switches on the dashboard. The Cooper Coupe comes with center mounted speedometer and a custom navigation display that can be mounted inside. The large display and the central mounting ensures that everyone in the car can easily see the display. This is a lot of fun when you are cruising on highways as everyone gets the thrill of driving in your Cooper Coupe. Another notable feature of the Cooper Coupe is its helmet inspired roof, which incorporates perfect aerodynamic design. The tailgate opens really wide and a six foot person can easily get inside the cargo area to load and unload stuff. The hydraulic levers on the tailgate makes opening and closing an effortless task.

While reviewing this car, we could just not get enough of the 6 speed manual Getrag transmission that Cooper Coupe is equipped with. Nowadays, with any vehicle, especially the faster and zipper type like a Mini, good transmission is needed to give you control over your car's power and momentum. With the right gear ratio and effortless shifting, it can be a lot more fun. Cooper Coupe is one of those rare cars you will be reluctant to use automatic transmission once you get acquainted with the manual transmission the car comes with. It's not necessary that you need excellent motoring skills to get used to the manual transmission either. If you're adamant on using an automatic transmission, Cooper Coupe offers this option too but it's recommended to go for the manual one as its much more fun.
